it was def 2008 when he was a pain in the wings ass. i vividly remember hating his guts for scoring on us in that series

if you think aboiut it, the pricing of taking out seats would probably balance out. you'd still get the expensive close to the glass seats, but due to bigger ice, there would be more of them. it would be a much better on ice product overall, IMO

But sadly if he isn't putting the puck in the net every other game people will always hate on him. He's been great this season IMO. not really lighting the lamp, but he is helping the team. The goals will come.

I was at an Ice Caps game a couple nights ago, and during a TV time out they announced him as AHL player of the week. They said it as Mar-ay-zeck.

it's a done deal folks. i dont have concrete proof, so i dont expect anyone to believe me, but i'll tell you guys what my cousin told me. he has a friend who works with CBC human resources in toronto. the league has told cbc to get ready for the season. said the deal is just being finalized now but an agreement was made. not sure if they will announce tonight or not but all thats left is paperwork at this point. -
Throw the bank at Weber I say lol. Dman like him are few and far between. It's the kind of guy if you can land to lead the D for years to come, you do whatever it takes to make that happen. Just my opinion, of course. Other teams give their kids a chance, and great players emerge. I say for the time being give our kids a chance. See what they are made of.

The Leafs were atop of the East for a while there to were they a legit top team? No. The Wild overachieved. Even without the injuries I believe they would have came back to earth at some point. They are still a bubble team IMO. Suter and Parise would have helped us in the short term, but without them we are better off in the long term. Make small moves now, and the big moves next summer when the legit big guns hit UFA.

I think Semin for 4 years at a decent cap hit is a better option than 98 million for 13 years for Parise. If Semin didn't pan out in Detroit, there are teams that would take him on in a trade if the term isn't too crazy. Low risk, high reward IMO. I think him playing with Datsyuk would be great. If not, trade him toa team who needs to hit the cap floor in the off season and get assests for him. At least signing Semin would leave the Wings with their own assets to trade for a d man.
