I think it would be best to see Hossa walk anyway. And that has nothing to do with his playoff performance in my opinion, I just think it would be best to keep the extra depth, and to ice basically the same team we won the cup with last year, but also giving players like Abdelkader and Leino a chance to proove themselves in a full time roll, and for much cheaper.

Kronner or Stuart need to open up the 4rd with a nice big hit. Something to give this team some energy.

I have no idea what the mood has been on the forums tonight, but I had an awesome night. I figured tonight would be the one game the Wings would lose, so the loss didnt bother me much. Only a game 4 loss would make me:( But I live in St. John's, Newfoundland, and I was drinking at the bar I work at tonight watchong the game. A bar called Turkey Joes, on the famous George Street. Tonight, I met Adam Pardy of the Calgary Flames, and chatted with him for a nice bit. Just to note a couple things he has said, word for word. "The Wings will not lose this series. They are way to stong, it is amazing how strong they are, actually" When I asked how many games the series would go, he said it would end in 6. I told him I thought it would end in 5, and he said that is very likely as well. Now, I just thought it was really cool to get an actually NHL'ers perspective on things, and it was great to hear just how much praise he had for the Wings. He said he can't see anybody topping them in the years to come. Fun ass night!!

I to called a game 3 loss from the start with everyone I know. It still sucked to see them lose game 3, but I saw it coming. I am very confident the Wings will get the split, and finish it off Saturday night. Even a Calgary Flame thinks so

I am working on trying to fly to Detroit for game 5, and a possible game 7.

I was just wondering what some of the prices were for the tickets last year during the Stanley Cup Finals. I've doen some looking around and couldn't find a whole lot of good info. I was wondering because if they make the finals this year, I am planning on making a trip down to catch the potential game 5 and 7. I have never seen an NHL game live in my life, and figured if they go the distance again this year, it would be a good time to start, and I need to find out if I could afford to do it. Also, what hotel would any of you recommend to stay in while down there? And places to go before games, and stuff like that?

This is good. It means I should be able to afford it. OF course it would be even better financially if the finals (assuming the Wings make it) did not go to a seventh game lol. So I guess my trip all comes down to how big my student loan is. Yay!

The way I see it, the refs have been dicking the Wings around all game long. AQfter seeing Hossa getting mauled be Pronger behind the Duck net, I was like you got to be s***ting me... pardon my french. The Ducks got away with so much all game long, thye are LUCKY to only have lost by one goal. Especially after that Hudler "goalie interference" call. Screw the Ducks, screw the refs, the Wings move on, so who cares. Let the Duck fans *****! Typos are due to extreme intoxication,but I still mean every word!! lol

I have been wanting to see this series since the playoffs began, and now that it is so close I am pumped! I think there would be nothing better than to go through the Blackhawks and the Bruins to get the cup.

If the Caps and Bruins can pull through, my god what an epic final 4 it would be.
