Yep. That's about as poor as asset management can get right there. But what can you expect from a person who thinks someone creating a fake blueadams account using an uppercase i instead of an l is being hacked? With either of those players, unless someone is willing to overpay for them or they have no intentions of re-signing (Leddy, Fabbri), they have more value staying where they are.

Yeah it's the horrible situation of being thin at center sadly. We will likely continue to see them play that role until we get a shiny new top 6 C that can force him to wing.

This is the part people need to get past. Yes, we hopes he'd be a sniper. But that aspect of his game just hasn't translated, and he has evolved into more of a playmaking defensive winger. If his current pace is his floor, that's cool. I do expect his scoring numbers will improve over time, however. If he can be a 50-60 point winger with a strong defensive game, I'll be content. It's a bummer he isn't filling nets with pucks, but such is life. Just imagine if we got Stevie back one year sooner...

I think the chances are relatively equal of all of them still being here or neither to be honest. Neither will be a core player, and any one of them could be traded over the next few seasons as more young players enter the lineup. If I had to order them by importance, I'd go: Zadina, Veleno, Hronek, Ras. I only rate Hronek so low due to our prospect depth at the position. I feel Zadina and Veleno have plenty of untapped potential, so I feel they'll survive here at least a couple seasons. Ras is treading replaceable af territory. Keep Veleno at 3C and bump Ras to wing, which I feel is his best chance of success.

I think he'd be fine as a third line wing at this juncture. I do like his defensive play, but when it comes to offense he can't make a play to save his damn life. He should be on the wing and forechecking and being a s*** disturber in front of the net. Veleno gets some s*** on his ability as a center, but he is far more suited for the role than Ras is. At least Veleno has the tools to become a good NHL center. Ras never had those tools to start with. He excelled on the score sheet as a man among boys body-wise. His 5v5 stats in his draft year showed he was not a good center, and that he racked up all his points scoring goals in front of the net. Let him play wing and do that. Maybe Ras should spend next summer working out with Veleno. If Ras had that kind of summer in the gym, we might have something (still not a center though).

Arizona needs that contract to stay above the cap floor. They are in no rush to give it up. They will do it at the deadline for assets and taking on another team's contract.

Fixed it. This Ras at center s*** needs to end, unless it's 4C. He's awful at it. Biggest draft bust on the roster, and it isn't even close.

Tampa and Florida I feel are the only locks, with Florida winning the division. Toronto will get their s*** together at some point. They have a great regular season team. If any "top 4" team in the division drops, it'll be Boston. They are a Bergeron injury away from no top 6 center. They won't be a basement team by any means, but their roster this year is very capable of running into some serious slumps if Bergeron can't play 82 games.

It's almost as if he actually is a good coach, and is starting to have the talent to work with to produce some results. Even last year when they sucked hard, they still played hard.
