As for tonights loss.... I can't blame anyone. Kronner mistake in the 1st sucked, yes. But he was trying to do was he should have, it just took a real s*** bounce off a skate. It's hockey. It sucked, but thats hockey, ESPECIALLY this time of year. Either way, we tied the game, got a lead, couldn't keep it. There are a handful of players you can single out at fault for that tying goal, but it was the TEAM that lost in the end. Not the individuals!! I see Ozzie getting some crap here tonight. A big FU to all who are dissing him tonight. He is the only ******* reason we are in the finals now. Forgot Hasek's play in round already? Sure the goal Ozzie let in in the last minute was bad. But so was the entire teams play in the entire first period!! The boys were nervous, and when they got it going, they dominated. It was a lucky bounce of a ref's ass that won them the game. We still have 2 tries yet!!!! I hope to f*** the Wings win the cup in a 1-0 game. Shut out for Ozzie. Johan "can't clear it" Franzen with the goal, and assists by Jiri "high sticking penalty" Hudler, and Nick "scored on my own net" Kronwall. Bet some of your s*** opinions would change pretty god damn quick!!!! Am I frustrated about the loss? You're damn right I am!!! 35 seconds away from the end. I was almost s***ting my pants in happiness. But to come here and hear some of the s*** being said about certain players on our team? With 4 of them being HUGE parts in why we are here in the first place? Sickening. Pisses me off even more than the loss itself. MY opinion. We won every series thus far on the road. It would not be QUITE as good winning the cup on the road I know, But winning it is really all that matters. Wings in 6.... I hope I don't offend anyone here. I'm just frustrated about some of the dissing of our players going on here :/

I may sound crazy but I think the Caps are coming out of the East next year. Maybe the Habs. But I would not be suprised at all to see a wings/Caps finals next year. The Caps have come a long way, and I think they will have leanred so much from their series with Philly this year.

I remember February. I also remember how we already lost 5 or so straight before Lids even got hurt. Lids is our best player, no doubt, and I agree he should be looked at for Conn Smythe as well. But it goies like this. If Franzen continues were he left off when he comes back tonight, hes gonna get it, even with the games he missed. He missed a rounds worth of hockey, but yet is STILL tied in the lead with goals. If he finishes the post season leading in goals, I'd say he gets it. Other than that, I think Zetterberg will get it, although I'd personally love to see Ozzie get it because he deserves it with all the doubts people have had in him. Hell, whether we win the cup or not, I wouldn't be uprised to see a Pens player get it just because...

Franzen is going to go right back where he was, but I also think Cleary will stick around on that line as well. That would make another shut down line almost as good as dats/hank/homer. Hudler will go back to the 4th line again (where he played great anyway) and the 3rd line won't be touched. Dats/Hank/Homer Mule/Flip/Cleary Drake/Draper/Sammy Hudler/Helm/Maltby

Please...... A 10 year old would have known to draft Crosby, Malkin and Staal in the oreders they went in. Thats a no brainer. Leafs wouldn't have messed that one up. If they never drafted Fleury, they still could have gotten a #1 through free agency. Many teams have done it before. Hell, they may have even gotten past the first round last year with better goaltending... I give them credit for players like Talbot that they drafted later. But face it, the Wings have OWNED the Pens when it comes to drafting. Our stars have come to us by great scouting in the later rounds of the draft, whereas Crosby and Malkin were given to the Pens cause they sucked for so long (no offense). There is no comparison between the two IMO. I'd say Anaheim has done better at the draft table than the Pens, getting players like Perry (puke) and Getzlaf. They weren't near as obvious draft choices as Crosby and Malkin. IMO, Shero is not a very good GM. Nobody in the right mind would have given up what they did for Hossa as a rental when they already had a shot at the finals as it was.... Steal for the Thrashers!!

Amen to that!! I cannot stand the new Stnaly Cup Finals patch they use now. It just looks so weird on the jerseys, like they totally don't belong. I'd love to see them bring the old style back. They blended in nicely with the jerseys. I got jerseys with the 97, 98, 02 patches on them, but I don't know if I will bother with the 08 one, cause they look so stupid IMO. I'll still get one, just not put on any jersey like I usually do.

I will probably get bashed for this one,but I'd love to see us get Feds back for one last go. Ever since the deadline he proved he has it in him to make one more cup run. He has played great, especially in the World Championship. What he get, 5 goals and 6 assists? Thats just a wild guess. But still. He has looked a lot more like his old self since getting out of Columbus. And it would never hurt to have him for depth. Just imagine, if we had someone like him now we sure as hell wouldn't need Sammy. Feds could pwn Sammy on the point, and he'd have been a great help to our second line right now, especially with Franzen out. I'd say it's definitely something the brass will probably consider. He certainly got me loving him again. Fedorov = secondary scoring. Fedorov = depth. Fedorov = experience. And most of all, he deserves to end his career where it all begun for him. Dats/Hank/Homer Mule/Feds/Huds Newf/Drapes/Malts Kopay/Helm/Abdelkader Dmac/Downey Lids/Raffy Kronner/Stuart Ericsson/Meech Quincey Ozzie Howard/Larson I don't think Cheli should come back. Hasek is gone for sure. Drake will probably retire, especially if we win the cup. If our lineup was anything like that, we'd be a much younger team overall, and hungrier. Kopecky will do fine developing into what Drake is now. Possibly even better. He started to look real good before his injury. Poor guy. But him, with Helm and Abdelkader I think could be a potentially dangerous line. Size, speed, and lots of energy.

Isn't availible in Canada. I have my center ice in the season and TSN and CBC cover every single playoff game. I understand the Crosby hype in the States. They need a superstar to sell the game down there. But why oh why do they need to hype him in canada? The game is and always has done great up here. We don't need the Crybaby forced down our throat.

Yeah that game was just another reason why the puck over the glass penalty is bulls***. I never did like it, it should be the same as icing the puck. Face off in own zone without changing. Like seriously, whats the difference between putting it over the glass and icing it?

Yzerman will no doubt GM that 2010 team, and I also think Babs will coach it. I REALLY hope Cleary makes that team. I'm a newfie, and This whole province would rally around team Canada like never before if our province was represented.
