There is no way Yzerman allows the team to go into next season with Veleno as 2C. He will absolutely sign a veteran middle six center on a shirt deal or trade for one with 2-3 years remaining. Someone like Tyler Johnson.
-
and low term!
-
It is assumptions based on what we have in the prospect pool, nothing more.
-
tl;dr Yzerman is not gonna sign 28 year old players to long term deals.
-
People wanting 28 year old guys like RNH or Hamilton clearly haven't been paying attention to what Yzerman has been saying.

The Isles will fill JT's heart with pain and regret
-
So the Islanders are the true underdog story. Hell yeah!
-
For the tl;dr, Reinhart would be an AWESOME complement to Larkin as top six centers.

You just can't handle the idea of a woman who can kick your ass

Bruins won the cup in 2011 over the same s***. The refs simply call less and less the further along the playoffs go. It's stupid. We DoN't WaNt To CoNtRoL gAmEs... ...by controlling the games

I'll just keep making electrons do math

And now for your Jimmy Howard POWER PLAY

Yes, there is always someone who manages the entire project, as each project is broken up into so many smaller pieces you have to have someone to oversee everything and ensure people stick to their timelines and s***.

Computer engineers are basically computer scientists but having learned the electrical side of the field as well, right down to the physics of silicon. And we get to become engineers, which often leads to more money. As far as the bridge thing goes, in any engineering field, if you wanna get into the good s***, you need to go all in with the masters and a PhD. A Bachelor degree will get you a nice career in the field. Specializing by going all in with a PhD is where you get to work towards doing s*** that has never been done before. As far as this bridge/sports stadium goes, that's all team jobs. There is no one person who makes any of that s*** happen. It's like making a video game. No one person makes a game. Hundreds do.

That is s*** nightmares are made of

For the record, I do not disagree that ME is the more lucrative field of the two. It's just incorrect to say Civil is a dying field. As far as the housing industry goes, all that is required from an engineer is the ol stamp of approval on the design. And considering how common cookie cutter housing in these days, that industry definitely does not employ 90% of civies. Look at you. You got me sticking up for ******* Civil engineers. Gross. But we all know ECE is where the $$$ is at. And no, I am not talking about early childhood education.
-
Ahh yes, surely these things are all designed by just one single person. Jesus christ you're uninformed. He's not an ME. He is just pretending to be. Personality-wise, the shoe certainly does fit though.
-
Ahh yes, civil is just building houses. Thank you for teaching me.
-
Do you realize how ******* tough it would be to go back and finish an engineering degree years later? And civil being a dead field? Incorrect. But it is pretty typical of mechs to think they are superior to everyone.
-
If you work your ass off for 4 years towards something, might as well take that final year to finish it up. At least this shows the kid has his head on straight and has a brain. He'll get the GR call up once the semester ends in spring.

In one of his post-season interviews. Even the interviewer thought Petruzzelli would hit UFA if he didn't sign by the summer, but Yzerman stated that because he wants to finish school, Wings retain the right for another year. This exception is only for players finishing school though, which is why I guess it isn't well known as most players jump at the chance to go pro asap. Here is the ruling on it: (i) If a Player drafted at age 18 or 19 is a bona fide college student at the time of his selection in the Entry Draft, or becomes a bona fide college student prior to the first June 1 following his selection in the Entry Draft, and remains a bona fide college student through the graduation of his college class, his drafting Club shall retain the exclusive right of negotiation for his services through and including the August 15 following the graduation of his college class. The Club need not make a Bona Fide Offer to such Player to retain such rights. tl;dr: Wings will retain his rights until August 15th of next year
-
Petruzzelli is not going UFA. He is finishing school, in which case his rights get retained for one more year. He has already said he intends to sign with Detroit. Yzerman said this himself.

In the sense that a team may look and say "hey, he's a former first rounder, maybe he needs a fresh start," I agree. But this idea that trading him is the same as giving up a first rounder is silly. The first round pick was wasted on the player, not any potential trade of said player.
-
I'll be stoked if Zadina puts up Tatar #'s while also continuing to improve his defensive game. People have this weird obsession where they assume a player will always be worth at least the position they were drafted, despite their turnout. These folks literally think Cholo is values as a first rounder because he was drafted as such. Where as in a trade, you'd get a 3rd for him if you're lucky.
