  1. You do realize prospects exists, right? It's not all draft picks.
  2. I can assure you that no cap space needs to be cleared for re-signing MAntha and Bert. Is AA on the way out? Sure. But for that low a price? Hell naw.
  3. As far as I know, it affects both. But mostly affects the team who reap the perks of said contract. So I'd expect the Wild to get raked over the coals regardless.
  4. In all fairness, these contracts always end in LTIRetirement
  5. Not to mention still signed for 5 more years after this one haha
  6. Just got to make sure it's a team that will likely be the same next season as well, because a first would no doubt get lottery protected Fuuuuucccckkkkkkk nooooooo. We already dodged that contract years ago.
  7. Wayne Simmonds to Buffalo for a 5th
  8. Helps when you have players other teams want
  9. False. He has played more games than he has missed, and is improving on his play previous to said injuries.
  10. He's been in the league since 2015. How big a sample size do you need? You're*
  11. Get TSN direct for the day. It's $5 CDN. If you're in the states, just use a VPN on your browser and set it to Canada.
  12. f*** we better trade Mantha, Hronek, and Seider then. All three might not be as good next year.
  13. If Fabbri is eventually "pushed out", trade him at that time. The kid is only gonna get better yet. He plays a responsible game, works his ass off, and has proven over multiple seasons he can score at this level. There is zero reason to trade him now unless someone overpays for him. Otherwise, terrible asset management and merely making moves for the sake of making moves. Trading him for a 3rd would be idiotic, considering how low of a probability there would be of getting a player in return anywhere close to the level of Fabbri. More picks is lovely, but not at the expense of a 24 year old not even in his prime yet. By your logic, every time a player has a good season we should trade them because their value is high. Idiotic at best. Fabbri's stock will only increase. You keep preaching this small sample size of Fabbri, but the guy has made an impact any time he has played, slowed down only by a couple nasty injuries. Despite that, he is scoring at a career pace on a offensively anaemic team. Common sense says hold on to that. Nobody waited to move Green. He was about to land us a first rounder and Holland's poor asset management cost us, as he got hurt right before the deadline. If there are so many goalies available, why do so many teams have such garbage goaltending? These always available goalies are simply nowhere near as good as you think they are.
  14. Most likely candidates to be moved are AA and disney.com
  15. Nope. No caffeine period.
  16. It's early. On a Monday, cut me some slack
  17. In the end, the guy is a liability without the puck. When he is scoring, it's easy to overlook. People gushed over his two goal night vs Montreal, but quickly forget the absolutely LAZY giveaway that led to Montreal's first goal.
  18. Not to mention he has term left
  19. Exactly. There is no doubt they've been much better players for this team than AA has been.
  20. Truth. Gonna be a full blown meltdown from some once we see what comes back the other way for AA.
  21. Green was never gonna get us anything. He is damaged goods at this point. At this stage, Green is very much a player where you simply accept the highest bid. He also had a modified NTC, which typically reduces any potential return.
