This. Drysdale is the real deal. Despite being only 17, when he stepped in for Byram in the WJC when he got hurt. he stepped up and performed. Even Byfield showed nothing as a young player. Why just start being ok at d in 2-3 years when we could potentially get Drysdale and be elite on d in 2-3 years. Having Seider, Hronek and Drysdale as the core dmen would have the Wings contending for years. Good goaltending is by far easier to come by than an elite dman. They are available in UFA literally every year.

McIlrath plays a solid, safe game and adds toughness. Really hoping he gets a permanent spot next season once dead weight on the Blueline is shed. Let him handle the fighting instead of Mantha.

Mantha might be done for the year - what now

Ahh lol. No worries! I was confused as I was basically telling them they were both right based on their approach to the stats. So I was confused when it seemed I was getting called out for "starting an unrelated argument" haha -

You're so vain. I bet you though my post was about you. Hint: it wasn't. -
Yeah, they get pretty contrary if the signs aren't bilingual. Yet they don't put english on anything themselves.

We're not from Quebec

Taller you're a goalie or dman
-
borderline little person who has no business playing center. 5'8" is not even tall enough to play wing. jesus christ. Go back to pee wee That one is very me friendly, as it's the same top 4 as mine haha. Getting Drysdale at #4 would be ******* great

When someone says Peters is a good coach
-
Next coach fired, I'm assuming. And Crosby as well. f***in' 5'11" acting like he owns the place. Play wing you tiny little man. Pens will never win anything with that tiny dude at center.
-
fingers crossed for the reuniting of Veleno, McStud, and Laffy
-
The only young babcock we want is young floating mike babcock
-
He is clearly a winger, at 5'10"
-
Lets hope he doesn't have a child stuck in California
-
Gotta be at least, like, 6'3" to play center in the NHL.
-
Will he make Hronek look like an AHLer? That would be ******* fabulous.

Fair, but regardless, it's still such a small sample size for both players. -
I sure hope so

Bold 1: Technically their time as red wings could be considered arbitrary as well due to them both having played a different # of games with the team. In the end, I just figure it's more of a hey, let's see where they are after a full season type of convo. Regardless of which approach to the stats you both take, it's an extremely small sample size regardless. Bold 2: It would be dumb as f*** to flip either of them at the deadline unless someone was stupid enough to give us a top 10 pick for them. Anything beyond that it's a crap shot if you even get anyone as good as both of them are now. They are both young, they both have shown enough that they have potential to be big time players for this team. So yeah, folks suggesting that are idiots. #TeamFabbriandZadina -
Yeah I have no doubt he'll be in the NHL, I just think he is our best shot at a top four outside of the obvious. Tuomisto has potential, but still a very raw talent and a ways away if he does make it to the NHL level. Someone like Drysdale would be an impact NHL dman before Tuomisto. Or even McIsaac for that matter. He was underwhelming, but solid at the WJC. He also only played like 3 games before that tournament. Hard to jump into a high pressure tournament like that to basically start his season.
-
Very likely. The only defensive prospect I have hopes for outside of Seider is McIsaac. Luckily Seider is basically a sure thing, and I no longer consider Hronek a prospect. Hopefully others make a statement over the course of the year. But it's a bleak looking position right now.
-
The hope is that he is a better bottom pairing dman than the 5 currently on the roster
-
If a contender gets desperate enough at the deadline... It's nothing I expect to happen, but crazier things have happened.
