It's a combination of s***ty goaltending and regressing old players. The roster has gotten worse. Without younger players stepping in and making an immediate impact, this is how it's gonna be for a while. All teams have to do is shut down the top line and they can have their way with the rest of the team. A new coach won't fix this. -

Holland f***ed up 2 years ago by not scratching Green at the trade deadline. Went and got hurt at a time we were expected to get a 1st for him.

No doubt, but we don't wanna get too good right now. Because Lafreniere. But Hicketts is a guy running out of options. Time to see if he has a future here or not.

I think it's criminal Hicketts has not seen more NHL ice than he has. He is certainly no worse than half the guys on the roster right now. Give him a few months. See what we have.

I'm not against the idea of seeing what Blash could to with some talent beyond just one line.

Gross. Maybe Keefe. But a hell no to Bylsma and Boucher. In all honestly I'd like to see us stick with Blash if there aren't many options out there.
