Looks like Larkin is back. I am disappointed that Blashill is going back to the same lines with no chemistry. I thought Jurco worked really well on the 3rd line last game, they had tons of energy and chemistry. Helm, to me, sucks on the 2nd line and brings it down. I would like to see Larkin play with Pav and Nyquist stay up with Z. Nyquist- Z- Abby Larkin- Pav- Richards Jurco-Sheahan-Nyquist 4th line I think those lines would make so much more sense. Helm belongs nowhere in the top 6 and the quicker blash realizes that, the better.

Another good game by Petr. I think he's earned an extra start on Monday against the wild and then jimmy can play tues then back to petr for new years eve since I'll be there and really want to see him play. Other than that, best game I've ever seen smith play. I love him and green together! This is the smith I've been waiting for. Not just this game, he's been good for a few games now, but now comes some offence as well. I find the D are a lot quicker moving the puck since Ericsson has been out. Kindl is still atrocious and I think smith should get pp time over him! Jurco also had a very good game along with the rest of his line. Nyquist and hank were quiet tonight and pav line was okay. I still feel that our top 2 lines lack energy and chemistry and blash needs to change them. Helm simply does not belong in the top 6 he turns the puck over far too much. Pav just doesn't look like himself at all and it's starting to scare me. Blash really under uses pav and sticking him with helm makes it worse. I'd like the euro twins to be reunited, especially while larkin is out. Speaking of which, hurry back larkin!

Hopefully larkin out forces blashill to play pav and hank together and take Nyquist and Tats off the 3rd line.

Mrazek is clearly better than Jimmy. Jimmy is average and always will be. Mrazek is much more clutch than Jimmy. I'd love to see jimmy make 4 breakaway saves in one game like mrazek can do and did do. I love the new mrazek jersey that I'm sporting today.

Helm sucks. He has no hands and gives the puck away far too much. I'd like to see him packaged up in a deal with jimmy. Pav needs one of larkin Nyquist or tats playing with him if hank isn't.

I'm sorry but that was pathetic. Play the guy who actually gets us wins. This is ridiculous. Mrazek better play next game and on the new years game when I go.

I really wish blashill would change these pp units. There is almost no chemistry on them. Everyone is standing still on both units and Richards shoots too much. I want to see more shots from green. I guess green read my mind haha.

Me too. I'm home from Toronto for 2 weeks and every game I go to I want mrazek to play. I went to last game and mrazek played great. I am going to the new years eve game so mrazek better play that game too.

Then package him up for a trade at some point. Howard is not a 5 million dollar goalie. We can package him up for a player to improve our team.

Howard blows leads more often then not. Mrazek plays better and if he was given the chance to get into a groove I believe he would be even better.

What a shame. I wish blashill would stop with this stupid rotation. Play the goalie that wins.

Maybe blashill should get the pp figured out and use green more as an offensive weapon.

Great win and great goaltending from petr mrazek. I hope blash sticks with mrazek for tomorrow so he can get into a groove. If we win tomorrow night we tie the Habs for 1st.

Blashills lines suck!!! How long is it going to take him to keep pav and hank together on a line?! The wings were so flat for too much of this game. Howard played okay but a crappy rebound and he gives up a 3rd goal right after we tie the game. And another loss for him. Play mrazek next game and change the lines.

The goalie tandem needs to end. Howard needs to go and we need to stick with our guy, mrazek. Bob Mckenzie tweeted today that he believes Stamkos is leaving Tampa Bay at the end of the season and therefore could be traded by the deadline or held onto til free agency. If this is the case then either Kenny needs to clear Howards cap space to give us room to offer Stamkos a contract in the summer. I'd like Howard gone by the deadline either way.

How many games is blash going to continue to play pav with a crappy line? It's so frustrating to watch!!! Like we can barely score more than 2 goals a game but let's keep the same freakin lines! Jesus Christ. Give pav a goal scorer!!! And quit with the stupid goalie rotation. Just keep playing mrazek.

Pav broke the glass today at the morning skate. I think it's a sign that he's pissed at blash for sticking him with no skill helm.

Blash said last night he'd decide on today's goalie on the plane so we don't know that Howard is playing. That really tells me that mrazek is our guy the fact that blash is even considering playing him back to back. Frankly I hope mrazek plays as we just win with him. I have a feeling tonight's game might be grinding and end in a shootout and so I want mrazek playing. Go wings!

This pp coach needs to go. Change the Frickin pp units it's very clear that neither unit is effective but yah let's just leave everything the same. Piss poor coaching today.

I think the coaching staff takes too long to make changes. Our pp has been terrible the last while but everything remains the same. Just because we have a good record lately doesn't mean we don't need to keep making changes.
