These lines have NO CHEMISTRY! Seriously change things up already. Pav looks like he doesn't even care out there. Give him something to work with!

I agree we need new lines. Pav is playing with stone hands helm who has no skill. And I'm sick of green and Kronner being separated on the pp. Just play them both the whole 2 min! Our pp is way too stationary. They have to fix that.

Let's just agree that jimmy will never be a big time goalie. Since he took over for ozzie I have never felt that he could ever take our team all the way. Even with lidstrom and Rafi jimmy couldn't get us past the 2nd round. Jimmy is average and way over priced. With mrazek I think most of us agree we feel he can lead this team to new highs in the playoffs. He needs to start getting more starts and we should package jimmy up while he has value.

Perhaps you are forgetting the first 2 games mrazek played against the caps. He plays very well against them and should have played. The team plays better in front of mrazek and a big reason for that is because of his ability to handle the puck and they just have more confidence in him (in the shootout as well). So yes the team probably would have gotten more shots on net. I don't care how well Howard played, he didn't win. He has an ability to find ways to not win. He gets paid 5 million dollars to leave his legs wide open in the shootout every single time. Maybe he should practice that while mrazek starts to get more starts.

He won. And while he didn't play his best he made some late saves. Remember that ot save and then play went the other way and we won. Mrazek is clutch. Jimmy isn't. Mrazek better play against the Habs.

Good game with 2 good teams. Unfortunately the refs were awful and it had an impact on the game. I'm not blaming the refs but they didn't help. Howard stunk in the shootout. I knew he'd let in a 5 whole goal. Back to mrazek Thursday please. Blash Needs to give pav something to work with! Helm SUCKS. He honestly gives away the puck in the offensive zone every chance he gets. He belongs on the 4th line or 3rd line if blash plays pav and hank together. But fact is pav needs something to work with.

Jimmy with another early goal. Last time he got lucky and it was called back. Mrazek should have played tonight. He played very well both games against the caps. Jimmy never seems to play good against the caps.

I think it's becoming obvious that blashill prefers playing mrazek over Howard. Mrazek has gotten 2 starts in a row wherwas Howard does not. Mrazek just looks more confident out there in front of the team. Even last night mrazek had an average night for his standards but still made the big saves when it mattered (especially in OT). Point is as the year goes on I think mrazek is slowly going to start getting more starts.

I think blashill is using a very stupid choice of lines. Pulks is way too soft and has not earned playing with pav. Richards on the 4th line? Nyquist and tatar on the 3rd line? Helm playing with pav?!what a waste of pav and his talent. I think blash needs to re do the lines. Z-dats-Larkin this would just be such a nice line Abby-richards-tatar Jurco-shehahn-Nyquist 4th line Those lines are so much better than blashills

Sheehan plays center so that wouldn't work. I think we should re do the lines because it is scaring me how Z can't seem to score all of a sudden. Z-D-Larkin Nyquist-richards-tatar Jurco-sheahan-abby 4th line That top line would kill and it'd give Nyquist and tatar more minutes.

Because detroit just doesn't care about stupid teams like Florida. They always lack energy against Florida. Even the fans don't care about Florida so there is never energy in the crowd. But blashill needs to start changing these lines they aren't working. I do like pav and Richards together but they need a larkin or tatar on their line.

If not for mrazek we would have lost in regulation. This was such a bad game to watch. No flow, no energy. Passes were off, little zone time pressure. And our pp sucked! Why the eff did we bring in green to still have our too pp unit have 5 left handed shooters!? Blash might want to play Kronner and green the full 2 min on the pp because it would make our point much more lethal than it is. Also kindl had a terrible game so smith needs to play and mrazek needs to keep playing.

Kindl is soooooo bad defensively I have no idea why blash plays him. Smith at least competes every shift and makes an effort defensively. Kindl looked lost that last shift on 2 occasions and luckily petr bailed him out. Play smith !

PUT him in a deal for big buff along with jimmy

Like I said before Howard can't protect leads. Any other goalie stops that 3rd goal.

Fact us Howard ALWAYS finds a way to blow leads. Oilers have like 4 good scoring chances and they scored on 2 of them. Elite goalies find ways to make the big saves and he consistently doesn't do that.

Howard looks very shaky to me. Defense needs to buckle down and limit shots. Howard has been giving bad rebounds and once again as soon as we get a good lead, he manages to give it up in minutes. Hopefully he can hold onto this lead now. Other than that I think the wings are playing very good just like against Boston. They look like a much better team than 2 weeks ago. Let's finish strong boys.

I wish blash would just commit to mrazek he always gives the team a chance. Jimmy already let's 2 goals in.

3 goals on 14 shots. Mrazek has been lights out.

It's no coincidence that mrazek has played every 2nd half of the back to backs. Despite that he still has better numbers.

I'm home from Toronto this weekend and am going to the game... really dissapointed that mrazek isn't playing I was really hoping he would. I think it shows blash has more faith in mrazek to get us a win on the 2nd half of back to backs. Either way I am very lucky the magic man happens to be back tonight. I'm calling a magic goal. 4 to 2 wings!

I think it's becoming clear that we need to get a little bigger up front. I see toronto is looking for a starting goalie so I propose this trade (I know it's debatable with some people). To Toronto : Howard, kindl, pulk. To detroit: jvr, phaneuf. That would give us the size that we need.

My patience on pulkkinen is running out. He never hits the net and he is soft on too many pucks. I think he's just too small and he doesn't know how to work with his size.

And that all starts with face offs we lose so many more this season so we start without the puk. No doubt getting pav back will make a big difference but still sheahan needs to get better and Anderson and glendening.

Glendening makes so many stupid plays like that. I swear once a game he dumps the puck into our bench when he can easily throw it up the ice. But man we gotta get better at face offs.
