Jimmy never lasts a whole year playing well. Now Blashill should still be going back to Petr next game. Petr had a great game in St. Louis and then had to sit so Howard could play, so even though Howard played good tonight, Petr should get the next start.

Funny i thought kronners and smith was our best pairing tonight. And kronners isnt even up to speed yet. Also i think hank has put together a string of 3 good games. My problem is tatar on his line. After 5 games of losing it couldnt be anymore clear that they have zero chemistry. Thats where coaching needs to come in and change something up. I have no idea how blashill can justify icing the exact same lineup after losing 4 games. Oulette and sproul have both shown they deserve to play over marchenko, ericsson and dekeyser. What has sheahan done this year? Absolutely nothing. Mantha should totally be playing. I cannot believe the lame management of this team. No wonder babcock wanted out of here.

I think we need to try new lines. 4 gamea later everything is the same. Obviously something isnt working. Mrazek is fine. Blashill needs to take charge.

Once again coaching loses this game. Notice it was the same 2 on the ice in the last minute and a half... Ericsson and marchenko. They cost us our lead in philly and they cost us from at least going into ot tonight. Terrible coaching. Oulette and sproul need to be playing.

Awful call to assume it is in like that. I swear video reviee is horrible. But another terrible play by dekesyer. Wonder how bad he has to be before he gets benched.

Im so sick of hearing about howard. He is the backup so get over it. What we should be talking about is blashill. I read an article from bob duff about how blash said he was unhappy with AA last night. Well blash all AA does is score with 7 min or ice time you give him so why dont you stop being an idiot and call out players like dekeyser for consistently sucking, or marchenko or glendening for losing key battles and not knowing what to do with the puck on a 3 on 2, or ericsson for coughing the puck up the middle 3 times last night, or miller for losing battles? Such a poor coach its a real shame.

Im not sure why sproul is sitting over marchenko or dekeyser. Dekeyser is so bad its painful to watch. He can't pass and we have horrible possession when he is out there. I loved having green playing with Smith. Id bench dekeyser for a few games. Smith green Oulette sproul Ericsson marchenko But won't happen cuz our coach is a clown who thinks players like dekeyser miller and glendening are amazing.

He overcommited a bit on the 1st goal but it was a nice play so i don't blame him. The 4th goal for all we know he was still a bit shaken up and 3 on 3 hockey is hard to blame a goalie for. Mrazek held us in this game and def did not cost us the game. This whole silly goalie rotation idea is ridiculous. Blash named petr the starter so he shouldn't be benched just because he lost. Jimmy should only be playing back to backs for the time being.

Anyone blaming mrazek tonight knows nothing about hockey. No way should he not get the next start. He was solid tonight. Not his fault he was prevented from making the save on the 3rd goal. This loss is the league and then coaching. Blash has zero handle on this team and how to utilize his forwards and dman. I would love to see ron wilson coaching these forwards.

We lost to reffing but also bad coaching. We had full puck possession in ot til dekeyser came out and just gave philly the puck. He is so bad this year. A shame kenny invested so much into him. Im wondering why the nhl even has video review when it cant even get calls like that correct though.

Glendening never wins the important draw and miller are is slow. To top that off we have ericsson and marchenko out there in the final minute why?? Horrible coaching.

This team is incapable of making in game adjustments. Thats coaching.

Blaming mrazek for that goal is a joke. Hes the only reason we are not losing right now after that awful period. It was a great pass play by philly. Petr has been our best player tonight along with larkin. I wish blash would change the lines to mess with philly and get some momentum. Put Nyquist and larkin with zetty and play abby with neilson and tatar.

I really wish blashill would play larkin with zetty. Tatar and zetty just have zero chemistry.

Why is drew miller still on this team? He is so slow!

Everyone says howard took over at the end of the regular season. He never really played that great. He was still letting in about 3 goals a game and never really made huge saves to win us games. He was playing average at best in front of a team that was playing average. And then he lost both games in round 1 where he played below average. We did NOT make playoffs cuz of howard

I will just be one of the ones who says told you so when howars eventually faulters. He couldnt get the job done when we had lidstrom and rafi and pav and homer and franzen all still playing. In fact i remember some of the soft playoffs goals he let in against the sharks in the game 3s that ended up killing us making us go down 3 to zip. He really only had one good consistent playoff run the year against the hawks. He is great one minute and awful the next. Its silly that we are even debating this. Soon enough everyone will be calling for howard to be benched just like last year as soon as he faulters. Petr is our guy. Deal with it.

I read a rumour boston is interested in howard hopefully it is true. Im so tired of these debates. Jimmy needs to go and that will be the end of that.

This is ridiculous. Mrazek is our starter. He has played very well this season. He has had 1 bad game but other than that has been great. You are not going to start giving howard more starts simply because his numbers are better in the 3 games he has played. O and in these games blash tries to start howard against teams he has always played well against. Talk about sillyness. You would destroy petrs confidence if jimmy starts getting more starts then him despite the fact that he, as our established starter, has played very well. Good thing you are not in charge of our goalies.

Well you would lose playing howard over mrazek simply because his numbers are better in the 3 games hes played. Mrazek just came off an amazing game so for you to act like hes not been good lately shows me how much you really know. He wasnt great tonight sure but like it or not he is our starter. Having howard here still just gets in the way. By the way guys like lunquivst have been playing 70 games a year for most of their career. I cant wait til jimmy is off this team so the debate can end.

Howard has played 3 games. And last night both teams were so bad a lot of the shots were not even quality shots. And that goal he let in was horrible snd he has a history of that. So yes mrazek has been better than howard. I have no doubt that by the new year howards stats will fall back down to his average level.

This is why jimmy needed to go this summer. The debate is over Mrazek is our starter. Im confident we would have won last night if we played mrazek. And mrazek has pretty good stats this season except for this game so you dont know what you are talking about. The other issue is coaching. Tatar doesnt work with zetty. But blashill is forcing it. Nyquist is actually playing really good so put him and larkin with zetty and play tatar with nelson. At least try changing something.

You obviously dont play goalie. 6 of 9 games isnt good enough. Blashill is doing a horrible job managing the goaltending. Petr is our number 1 and yet jimmy gets starts that he shouldnt. This early in the season the backup should only be playing back to backs. You reward your starting goalie with more starts when they have a gsme like he did in st. Louis. Just poor coaching. In addition instead of scratching dekeyser or marchenko who have been awful, blashill scratches sproul.
