Seems like the two points they got were an ugly set of points. But whatever. Points are points. Hell I'd be thankful if they were able to get some more ugly goals. Soon they'll have a good game and we'll forget all about this one.
-
Or how about... We need more shoot. Like Pavel says sometimes.
-
Hope so. He can't just think that he doesn't have to do the dirty work because he has a reputation for a good shot. But a lot of Stars fans would tell you that's how he plays on the PP.

I missed the game. Is this valid?

10/15 GDT: Grand Rapids Griffins @ Manitoba Moose

Smith looked pretty good in that game. -
Play smart. That's really all I hope for.
-
Apparently his work ethic is a complete joke in comparison to Homer's.

Can we please just forget about this thread and move on?
-
Can't we just get rid of Matt Cooke?
-
I thought the thread said Letang "blindside" hit on Comrie. Ah well.

In 4 games through the championship season Z had 3g-8a-11pts while Pav had 3 assists. The year before in the first four games, both Pav and Z had 1g-2a-3pts. Z's magical 2007-2008 start to the season in which he set a record of 16 games in which he registered a point was very, very special; special as in it doesn't happen that often. If we're going to make a judgment based on stats (and yes, I'm aware that some of you aren't), then we really haven't seen a significant difference if you treat Z's start to the championship season as an anomaly.

I think we all want to see the Zetterberg not only of 2007-2008 but also 2006-2007. Should we just forget about that guy and try our best to enjoy the way he plays now (not going to the net as much, as you suggested)? It's a tough adjustment for Wings fans because that version of Zetterberg was really, really good.
-
Meh. It's always like this. We're so used to seeing a winning team. The cup changes things including realistic perceptions.

Well, he'll probably respond with how Hudler settled the puck down and how his patience drew in the Dallas defenders and adjusted their formation, which supposedly opened up the lane for Bertuzzi to make that quick pass and Kronwall to finish it. But, I mean, also... Yeah. Don't waste your time.

Is Niklas Kronwall cursed or something?
-
So, looking forward, let's say Mule's out for the next couple of games along with, sigh..., Draper, Abdelkader, Rafalski and Ericsson. Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Holmstrom Hudler-Filppula-Bertuzzi Cleary-Modano-Eaves/Miller Eaves/Miller-Helm-???? They'll need a forward call up if Abdelkader can't skate and I'm guessing/sort of hoping that it will be Mursak, especially since he was the last cut this training camp if I'm not mistaken. I don't know about anyone else but I'm not a fan of the current defense pairings. Seems like they got zero chemistry going on out there right now. I wish they would pair Lidstrom and Kronwall together and just go from there.
-
Mule says he has a concussion. Babs said he wouldn't use that word. Ugh... Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok.

There's no way you're the same Heaton that's a mod for seemingly every major Red Wings board.
-
Anyone else notice how they didn't get any ice time in the 3rd until like the 13 or 12 minute mark? Or am I just seeing things?
-
Didn't he lose to Niedermayer?
-
Just to focus on the negative so far: Lidstrom -2 Datsyuk -3 Stuart -3 Zetterberg -2 Filppula -1 Kronwall -1 Holmstrom -3 Ouchie. Top players too.

Who hasn't been an Eaves supporter? I don't remember anybody seriously against him.
