As am I. They are all complaining about the Red Wings fans predicting a Pens-Wings series win for the Wings, yet it's acceptable for the Pens fans to predicts a Pen's win.

I don't think I've seen any other team give up as many odd man rushes as much as Dallas does.

Did you bother reading the posts prior to mine? By poor excuse I was meaning blaming the refs or the NHL for bad calls, or anything of that sort. How many people in those losses did blame the loss on anything outside of the team's performance? I was just simply saying, unlike most other fan bases, I haven't seen many people on these boards blame Detroit losses on anything outside of the team itself (yes, this is including Holland). I've been a member of this board for less then a year, and the only situation I recall that was ever blamed on the refs, was the game we lost again the Sharks, where the puck hit the netting out of play, and they ended up scoring on that.

Go dig up the threads for when we lost the two games to Nashville. There may be a hand full of people, or less, that blamed the loss on a poor excuse. The majority of this board blamed the loss on our boys not playing a whole 60 minute game, for both games.

Not at all. If the Wings lose, it just means that they got out played. We can't expect the Wing's to win every game they play, it just doesn't work that way.

Every team that loses will have an excuse, no matter how ridiculous it sounds. They've used the excuse of refs/nhl giving the wings the advantage last two games, so it sure wouldn't surprise me if they switched to this excuse for this game.

Hopefully Richards does play tonight. If Detroit wins, and he doesn't play, we'll have to listen to Dallas fans saying the only lost because Richards was out.

I've noticed that too, and sometimes it just makes me wonder if they get the same broadcast that we do. I'm sure they do, but the way they speak about the commentary, it just seems like they get different people.

Dudes, arguing about it gets you nowhere. We weren't out there playing for either team, so we aren't responsible what players do or don't do, nor do we have a say in what the NHL decides to do, and what calls the refs make. People always have to be complaining about something, just give it a rest and enjoy the series, win or lose.

The majority of the posts about this on Dallas & HF boards are saying that if Ribs gets suspended for this, then so should Osgood, for diving. Now, my question is, if Osgood really did dive, since when does that call for a suspension?

Seems like a fishy story to me... I've simmed several times, and without actually someone playing the wings, I've never seen them reach the finals. Having the same two teams reach the finals for you, three times in a row, is just hard to believe. If you would have stuck to once time, sure, but not 3.

I don't know if they get the same announcers as we do in Dallas, but Dallas fans keep trying to say that they are sick of announcers giving the Wing's so much credit, and that they overrate Detroit. But I agree with the posts above, all I hear is negative comments towards the wings, no credit at all, and it is getting quite annoying.

Oh please.... Dallas had power plays too, they couldn't capitalize, and we also score a full strength goal (Filp)
