Not sure if this was discussed yet, I looked around, and didn't see anything, so I figured I'd post, and ask my question. Last Wing's game, Mickey was saying that they are finished broadcasting, unless there is a game 6 I believe it was. Now, my understanding was that they are done broadcasting for this season. My buddy however, keeps insisting that they meant that they will no longer broadcast anymore NHL games on FSN. He thinks this because the way they were talking about the great times they've had broadcasting over the years and such. He thinks it pretty much sounded like a final goodbye to Wing's fans. Does anyone know if I misunderstood by thinking they are done for the season?

Thanks for clearing that up for me

I think this kid already knows where he's going to end up playing, and so does Kenny, and he's just visiting other places for the hell of it. He'll be in a Wing's jersey.

I just hope they don't sweep their way to the finals. By the way they've been playing, it wouldn't surprise me.

Their excuse will be that Smyth was out with an injury, and that Forsberge wasn't able to play his best because he's still playing injured.

Star's passing is kind of scarey, they are connecting pretty nicely

That was a pretty goal

Both teams are playing a lot better then their first game, especially Dallas. I can see Dallas coming away with a win here too, if they stop taking them penalties.

It's been a while since I was last around that area, but I used to remember several years ago, during playoff games that a lot of Wing's fans would gather at different bars on Biddle in Wyandotte for the games. After winning games, it would be hard to be anywhere on that street due to all the celebrations, with flags, and horn honking and people hanging out of their car windows and such. My question is, for anyone thats around that area now a days, does this still happen? Or was this just something that went on during the finals?

Pierre is an odd guy. He's done nothing but kiss the Wing's behind the past 2 days... He pulled a complete 360 with his opinion on the wings.

Either you, or I misunderstood. I believe they said that Crosby requested it to be done last game, thats why they did it.

I hope Dallas knocks out the Sharks. If they continue to play like they did last night, it won't happen. As far as TSN and such giving the Wings some credit to their current success, if the Sharks get knocked out like the Ducks, I don't see that happening. I believe that if the Sharks do get knocked out, the next favorite will be the Penguins, if they already aren't for certain reporters.

This is usually the web site I use when there is a game on that isn't on tv. http://www.hockeywebcasts.com/ You can try that, not sure if it's what you're looking for, though.

He's quickly becoming one of my favorite players. He's doing an awesome job out there, hopefully he'll stay consistent.

Agreed, Aflac makes the best GDT that I've seen, compared to other boards. Awesome job

Round two, so far every team that has scored first has ended up losing their opening game - just thought I'd throw this out there.

So much for that goalie change

That would be 1 of 2 reasons why I don't care much for the Sharks. Main reason being, my first memory of hockey was when the Red Wings got knocked out of first round (I believe) by the Sharks. Thats the first time I ever started watching hockey, I was a little kid, and thats what comes to mind every time I see the Sharks play. Not a great reason to dislike them, though, but it is my reason.

I'd love to see Sharks get knocked out first round. On the other hand, I don't want to see wings have to go through Calgary 2nd round, and Stars 3rd round (assuming Dallas would beat the Avs).
-
Nice goal
-
He clearly shoved him into the goalie, that sucked
-
5 on 3 this is no good
-
I would like to see sharks win, just so we can play the Avs, but something tells me that the Flames are going to take game 7.

I quoted this directly off of the link that was posted above http://www.the700level.com/2008/04/alexander-ovech.html You can't really make out what he was saying, not really sure why you're assuming he said what he said, plus, you can't even see him "turn to the Philly fans".
