How did this kid drop all the way to us in the draft? What are the other NHL teams' scouts doing? I'm not complaining.. This kid is gold.

That's what is comical though. Personally, I think both goalies have done an excellent job this season and I'm not big on Howard at all. But there are just some people who just have to blame the goaltenders on everything. I'd be willing to bed that if it was Petr in net, we'd see the "Howard is clearly the #1" comments just the same.

I don't care how he made the first save, he made it. Lets review saves from any goaltender in any given game, you'll see similar saves that should have went in. The D should have been doing their job there and it would not have went in.

That was not on Howard. He made a good save getting over, but no D support.

That was a weak one to give up.

That's not bad at all, I'd be very happy if seats like that stayed at that price. But yeah I agree, it was probably because it was the Canes. I didn't check for tickets for that game, had no interest in seeing that matchup.

Speaking for myself... I buy tickets on stub hub between 10-15 times a year, I love going to games. Over the past 5-6 years, I've gotten upper bowl tickets anywhere between $25-45 each (upper bowl, up to row 16, i try to never go higher than that, unless I have absolutely no choice and really want to go). I usually go with a buddy or a family member, or my girl if she doesn't have a super early shift the next morning. This year so far, every home game I've looked at (not counting pre-season), the cheapest tickets I've been able to find are in the $75-80 range. If I go with my girl, thats price x2 and she would not be too happy with that. So that is why me and my group that I would normally go with prefer to watch it on tv for that price. This year for some reason the prices went up, not sure why, don't really care for that.

Damn, this kid makes whatever line he's on better. Gets put on Tat's line and they get a quick one.

I know a lot of people have been saying lately how they'd like to see him sent down and develop there and that's understandable. Personally though, I think this was the right decision and I hope he gets to stay. My reason for this is that I like the idea that he can learn from Pavs and Hank before they are gone - what better centers to learn from??? Very happy for Larkin. He's going to have a long and fantastic Detroit Red Wing career.
