I'm not sure if you can. I'll ask and post where (if) they can be bought. Edit: I was told that they aren't sold right now, possibly in the future. But hey, there is always more than one source where stuff can be had from, so maybe somewhere else does sell right now.

It's for the entire season, not just one game. They've already been wearing them for both their games already.

Good win. Don't feel too good about giving up 3 goals to the Sens (2 PPG), hopefully we can tighten up in that department. Overall, I liked what I saw tonight.

I think the game center is much better. You get some neat features, you can watch more than one game at a time (4 at once, or 2 with picture in picture). I read that you can record them like a DVR, but I haven't seen that yet. You can also watch on your TV with devices like PS3. And yeah, it's HD.

You know what, if you get the right person on the phone they will cancel it for you and you can then get the online version. This is what I did last night. It took me about 7 reps saying they can't cancel once it's been added, but I finally got one that did it.

It probably won't be just those two teams. That web site linked isn't even the NHL's site, so its most likely that the people reporting at sporting news just don't know who else is participating, so they are putting out just those two names. Maybe to get hits on their web site? Who knows. As I said earlier in this thread, the Wings are doing the same thing as the Caps/Pens, so I'm sure there will be others as well.

I've seen this said many times on these boards over the past couple weeks, but I don't see how it's tarnished the Wings. It's really no different then any other power play sponsorship things they announced every PP, or PK or any other ads on the board. Is it just some hate we have against Amway? I personally don't even know what Amway is, maybe this is why I don't get it. As for the new arena, I don't really have an opinion on whatever it's name will be. I just care about watching the Wings play and succeed.

If it makes you feel any better, the wings are wearing a patch in honor of the three lost ex-Red Wings.

This is probably a really dumb question but I've never subscribed to this before so I honestly don't know the answer. Is NHL Center Ice on Comcast the same as NHL GameCenter on NHL.com? I'm considering subscribing this year, but I wanted to make sure they weren't different. If they are, I want to be able to subscribe to the one where I can get the most of my money. One of my biggest concerns is, if they are the same, will I be able to access NHL GameCenter through NHL.com on the days I am out of town for work, and don't have access to my Comcast? If anyone has subscribed before, any information at all would be helpful. I talked to Comcast on the phone, but it's like talking to a brick wall with them.

Thanks for all the responses, it sounds like I'll just go with the Center Ice and hope it's like Zettie85 said and get GameCenter for free. As for the black outs, I'm not too worried about it, I can still watch the Wings on FSN, I mainly want it because I always end up searching for streams of other teams and I'd rather just pay the money and watch it in HD on my tv.

I'm liking this Smith kid. I don't know what his status is as far as making this Red Wings team, but I wouldn't mind it at all right now.

I took my 11 year old neighbor who plays hockey and is a huge Red Wing, specifically Hank fan. We were in line for Homer, and they stopped the line 1 person in front of us because Homer was swapping out. Next thing I know, my little neighbor is screaming her head off as Hank sits down right in front of her, getting ready to sign our stuff. We stood in long lines, managed to get 3 signatures, but the three we got were the 3 out of the 4 we really wanted and ended up very happy. Hank, Lids and Mule. My neighbor likes to ask questions, I mean she never stops. First thing she does when she gets up to Mule's table, "How's Eddie Bo?" Mule laughs, says He's great, thank you for asking. When we got home, she tells everyone that she had a conversation with "Yo-Hannn". Comedy, this kid.
