Listening to 97.1 on my way home from class, and they are saying that the NHL is reviewing the tape of game two closely today for officiating stuff. Could this mean that a positive change could be made for game three on out? Could they finally notice Seto and Co. diving and start calling it? All I can say is if the officiating doesn't improve tremendously for tomorrows game after taking today to review the tape(s) then this league is in fact a joke.

Howard has played great for us. He let in a few softies against the 'Yotes, but he redeemed himself. He answered all the whining from people after game 3 by getting a shut out in game 4. If it wasn't for Jovo trying to get into Howie's pads in game 5, he gets a shut out there too. Game 7, fluke goal right off the face off, if it wasn't for that he picks up his 3rd shut out in a 7 game series. Tonight's game, the majority of SJ's goals were due to ticky-tack calls, including a 5 on 3, and then the game winner on a play where Lids has to drop his broken stick, and unable to help Howie. I see absolutely no need to pull him for a cold/rusty Osgood. Lets face it, after the season the Wings had, we should all be glad that they are even in the WCSF. Maybe he has played like crap like you think he has, and I just don't see it because I'm a big Howie fan, he still stays in net. This is the year where whether he play good or bad, he gets the first post season under his belt. So this thread about pulling Howie for Osgood, is just as ridiculous now, as it was during the first series. And I guarantee that there will be someone here who makes the same exact thread when we play the Nucks/Hawks next round. That's right, we WILL play them, with HOWIE in net.

Well, at least we'll have 11 seconds of a possible 6-4 if Howard gets pulled during that time.

This is ******* pathetic. I thought they want to draw new fans to this sport, not push away old fans? It's games that are ref'ed like this that make me wonder why I still watch. But I just love this game too much to stop, so all I can do is ***** about it and move on.

Whats funny is Shark fans are bitching about the Howard flop, but they don't see Nabby's as being a dive. Nice... And that's one fan base that I've actually had respect for.
