As much as I hate Blackhawk fans, I want to see the Hawks get in the playoffs. And I hope the Wings rest some players like Lids and Z. Its not the playoffs if the defending champ doesn't defend the cup. And they are a good team to possibly knock off Vancouver or hell even San Jose.

I don't care who we have in net, its all about match ups and playing strong on defense. Last year we wore ourselves out to make the playoffs, and when we got to the playoffs we played two west coast teams. This year if we can match up with a Nashville or Chicago in the first round, we will be better off travel wise. We'll be fine, we still have two weeks before playoffs start, we'll see what happens. If Joey is our starter, he'll get alot of practice.

You think that Buffalo would take Howard, every 1st round pick for the next ten years, for Ryan Miller, lol. Kidding, I think the Wings seem disinterested in the regular season and just wanna get healthy and start playoffs. We'll be fine once playoffs start. What I find funny Here comes the Hawks is that you think they can win a cup with Turco. You have a good core team i'll give you that, but with Turco they aren't winning anything.

I agree its not the players that make it a rivalry its the fanbase of the Blackhawks. They have sucked for soooooooooooooo many years, and they have a little bit of success and think they created hockey or something. And the Detroit sucks chants annoy the hell out of me, especially when we are kicking their asses. I'm glad that Hossa is still close to the Wings players, he is one of my all time favorites. I'm happy he got a cup finally.

God its only preseason, and besides if my team opened up a new stadium i'd come out firing too. The wings will be fine, preseason means nothing but to fill roster spots.

I bought a Hossa jersey with the mindset of it being for 1 year. I still wear it, and still proud of the fact that Hossa once played for Detroit. I will do the same for Modano and any other favorite players that will play for the Wings in the futures long term or short term. I'll probably buy the Modano when I pick up my Helm.
