they did improve, but I think that a depleted hawks team will be better than the blues. The Wings will dominate the division. But alot of it depends on Howard and if we stay healthy.

I wanna say that St. Louis is up there with Halak, but the more I think about it, would Halak be that good against the western conference?

The Hawks had a real good team this year, It might have been different if Nashville hadn't blown game five. All teams get lucky in the playoffs. But looking back at the season and the playoffs, I think this was the Hawks season to win it all.

They are on the list of favorites, If Sid Crosby keeps getting all the limelight and annoying the hell outta me, then the lightning might just become my second favorite team. None will ever be greater than my hometown Detroit Red Wings though.

I gotta say I'm looking forward to this series, I think the Hawks will win it though. As much as I hate them they deserve to be there. With that said I hope Pronger destroys Kane.

I hate the Hawks with a passion but they built their team with youth and talent, they are gonna be contenders for years. Good luck to them and I hope Hossa can finally lift Lord Stanley. They deserve to be where they're at. With that said I hope the Finals will go 7 games I'd love to see how physical the Flyers (assuming they will close it out tonight) can be against the Hawks especially Kane. By the way does Kane still have that stupid mullet?

Yeah they need to part ways with Nabokov, I look for the whole team to undergo major changes. I don't think Todd will be fired but then again its not exactly the brightest/smartest organization.

I'm gonna root for the Sharks, I respect them, I don't blame them for a tough series i blame bad officiating, they deserve to move on, they were one of the best teams in the regular season. I hope they go to the finals and win the cup.

Yeah we will be fine, first 2 games are over, all we can do now is focus on our home games and go back to the shark tank tied. If we can tie this series 2-2 we will win the series.

Very cool, I usually watch these before every game in the playoffs (for the past 3 post seasons) and we win. working midnights keeps me out of the loop this year, i haven't even been able to wear my undefeated Hossa jersey for the Sharks series and we've lost both games. keep up the good work.

I still respect the Sharks despite everything that is going on. Wings will just have to fight through it, win the next 2 games and take it from there. The First 2 games are over nothing they can do about it now. Just go into the next two games and win.

Yeah its just how easy the east is. As much as I grew up loving the Pens as my Second favorite team, its just not the same anymore, its all about Crosby and I would love to believe in some sort of conspiracy theory to keep Crosby in the championship picture. I don't think its got anything to do with luck or conspiracy just a terrible eastern conference. I will root for whoever comes out of the West even the Blackhawks and I despise them.

I will root for the sharks if they by some chance win the series. I respect Todd McLellan. So I would root for them. But the thing is they are simply not gonna win the series.

Everyone should have known the Wings would lose this game, they just got out of a series with Phoenix to be thrust back into another two days later. Wings will win this series without a doubt. They played poorly in the 1st and still almost won the game that goes to show that the Wings are a good team. Besides Boyle will score for us the game winner in game 2 or 3.

lets hope that halak can do that against the pens, if not its gonna have to be boston. how fitting would it be for savard to get revenge by knocking off the pens.

I would replace Sacco, Babcock did a better job. For Trotz and Tippet I hope either wins it, they did a great job this year. I think Tippet will win it though, Good luck to both coaches. Sacco's team had a hot goalie for most of the year in my opinion, its easy to be a good coach when Anderson was great for the majority of the year aside from maybe the last 2 months of the season.
