Karma is really biting the wings in the ass this year for all the successful seasons this teams had. Either that or someone has a curse on us.

I really like Eaves and Miller, I'm not a big Bertuzzi fan, but I wasn't worried about what he would bring to the table. Eaves and Miller I was worried about at first. I'm still on the fence about Williams, I know he's been injured, so I'll reserve judgement on him.

Steve Yzerman and Mario Lemieux, The Red Wings and Penguins were my two favorite teams growing up. My dad was from Pennsylvania and my Mom from Michigan, so I had chances to watch both teams. Wings will always be my favorite though.

I hope the LA Kings turn it around soon, they are my second favorite Western Conference team. But with that said, hopefully not too good against the Wings anytime soon.

Wings will win the Stanley Cup next year. I'd rather rock out with kids from Grand Rapids than pay alot of money to a free agent that doesn't show up in the playoffs. Not saying anything bad about Hossa, I've liked him since he came up with Ottawa, but for the type of money he was getting, he should have produced more against the Pens.

I remember last year everyone thought the Wings were gonna be a power house, look how that ended. Wings are better with core players and kids that know the system, not by signing big free agents or well known free agents. Our biggest moves 2 years ago was Raffi and Dallas Drake, and we won the cup. Our biggest move last year was Hossa and we got nothing to show for it ( Well Western Conference Champs, but you know what I mean). We will win the cup next year, bank on it. Chicago is gonna be a fierce team don't get me wrong, but they still have a big weakness in goal.

Chicago isn't going to win the Central, I wish people would stop sucking off Chicago cuz of Hossa. They have no goalie, Huet sucks. The Wings still have Zetterberg, Datsyuk, and Franzen, thats better than any team in the central. We have core players, the years the Wings sign a big name or trade for a big name we suck in the playoffs. Hossa, and Lang are big examples of that. Everyone thought we were gonna destroy all teams last year when we got Hossa. When we don't make big moves we do better. Well except 2002.

I don't care how good the Hawks look offensively, Huet is still their goaltender. No chance of any stanley cup finals for the hawks until they get a better goalie.

I'm really interested in seeing how the Pens react every night with a target on their back, we saw the Red Wings fight for wins pretty much every night.

I agree with all of you. And as much as I hate Malkin and Crosby, I do wanna give the Pens credit for winning, they were the better team in a game that came down to winner gets the cup. We went down to the last second of game 7 defending our championship, how many teams can say that. The Pens will never do what we did in defense of a championship. They will be lucky to be in the playoffs or past the first round next year. Now the target is on their back, night in and night out teams are gonna bring their best. The Wings weathered the storm all season and into the playoffs, there is no way the Pens will do what the Wings did.
