The Pens are my second favorite NHL team, but my feelings on Crosby are very mixed, I wouldn't say he's the best player in the NHL I personally wouldn't say hes the best player on his team. Is he a great player? Yes he is. My biggest problem with Crosby is they automatically made him the greatest player ever, or so it seemed after the lockout. I'm glad the kid didn't have to retire, no young athlete should have to suffer from an early career ending injury, especially one as serious as concussion. He still annoys the hell outta me.

I'm happy for The Blues fans and organization they have had a hard time the past 10 yrs, kinda like how I felt for the Hawk fans when Chicago became relevant again. Sooner or later the Blues are gonna have some adversity, every team has it during a season. What happens if Elliot gets hurt or one of their top forwards get hurt. Anything can happen from here till the end of the season.

After what I saw today, I'm glad the wings didn't do much. Granted we most likely aren't gonna win a cup this year, but who knows in playoffs anything can happen. I'm looking forward to July 1st with guys available like Parise, Suter, maybe Webber that kinda talent is far more superior to the guys out there today for just rentals, well except Nash.

Dude as much as I would love to get Nash, even that's too high. I say we just try to pick up some help at deadline, but July 1st we could maybe get a guy like Parise and not give up anything.

Agreed I think that's the biggest reason why I never liked him. I just think he should be doing more.

We need a big move. We aren't getting very far in the playoffs with this roster. What would happen if Pavs got hurt in the playoffs. Franzen and Hudler as our saviors? I shudder thinking about that.

Yeah I agree, he needs a kick in the ass. I understand that sooner or later a slump was bound to happen with the wings, but with the blues rolling and not slowing down, we need to play even harder without pavs. Franzen should be doing that for all the hype he gets.

I know I've never liked Franzen, but now its bordering on hate. He seems non existent. And god do I hope we make some kinda move for some scoring.

At this point I just hope we make a move that gets us scoring or toughness.

I would love to have Nash, but BJs aren't gonna trade him to a central division rival, so that leaves the Wings, Hawks, Preds, and Blues out of the running. He'll probably end up in San Jose, LA, or New York.

I don't think having an enforcer/tough guy won Boston a championship, a guy name Tim Thomas won them a championship. Wings have a system that they have gone by for years, sure we've had our bruisers here and there, but wings win on skill why change that. Cherry is a moron, if Lids, Dats, Z, and Howard were all Canadians he'd love us. He hates clubs that use more Euro players than Canadian players, its so obvious how he talks about certain skilled Canadian players compared to Euro players. Holland has us in positions every year to win or challenge for a cup, i'm sticking with him over Cherry any day.

My family is filled with people who served and we all watched it yesterday they all loved it, of course half of them are pens fans, lol.

I don't see the Hawks or Wild keeping up their paces, its still a long season and sooner or later it will change. It is nice to see teams like The Blues and Wild doing good though, fan bases are strong and they deserve to have some good hockey to cheer for.

Yeah same here, no one called him a bust from what I've seen.

Dallas is starting off hot, they will start to falter, Wings will win their forth in a row. Howard is a man on a mission this year. I've never been a big Jimmy Howard fan but hot damn 3 shutouts this year and we've only played 15 games. Go Wings

Anything can happen in the playoffs. Its really that simple. Luck, Travel, Injuries, anything can factor in winning a series or a game.

Over the years I have come to respect what Nashville has been able to do, competing with players that aren't superstars and still giving the Wings and Western Conference fits and making the playoffs. But this off season they have lost and not really gained anything good. I can't see how Weber would want to stay on a team that is going backwards. But then again, the Preds done it before without top notch talent so maybe they can do it again.

I grew up with the Wings and Pens. I for one would love to see Jagr in a Wings uniform. If it doesn't cost us alot, who cares.
