I'd be more interested in seeing Larsson called up than Howard. His numbers are better and everything I read about him is positive. Why reward the second best?

Claiming Sundin and Floppa won't be effective because they won't be in game shape is a crap argument. Its not like they're sitting on the couch eatting Doritos day and night and suddenly decide they want to play again.. and it only takes a few games to get back into game shape

You should have throw in a, "No, but the Joe should be renovated" response. Replace the seats with ones that have cup holders, update all the digital display boards, redo the bathrooms and call it a day. There is no good reason to abandon the Joe and all the tradition wrapped up in it just so we can have something shiny.

So what? I feel like everyone is making too big a deal about these, "big hits". Most of the time he is just throwing his body into a player that is off balance and not expecting Lady Byng to follow threw. Hardly anyone on this teams finishes their checks in the corners. Mostly its just stick checking.

Anyone who wants to debate why they think Hossa should/will stay over Z needs to get their head out of the fantasy league and into the real world. You lock up your future captain first, not your one year squeeze. Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I say I'd rather be Z because I've played for the same team my whole carreer. I live in a great neighborhood and home that is just minutes away from some of my best friends and teammates. I'm engaged to a super foxy lady. I'm going to be the next captain of an orginal six franchise. If I continue to work hard my number will be hanging next to Yzerman and Lidstroms, whom I've played with and learned from. I'm set to make atleast 40 million dollars before I hang up my skates.

I think that I'm starting to fall into the trap that is Marian Hossa.. just as the Pens did. It's becoming more and more difficult to accept that he will move on after this season. WHAT A FORCE! Every comment I read of his, I find myself breaking it down into a postitive for the Wings, but I have to stop kiddint myself. It just isn't possible to keep him, right? Aghhh!!

No, I wouldn't wear any other NHL team. I only support one team. But, I think its fair to wear any international jersey. It shows you respect the players talent more than your love of the country.

I have to say that I was incredibly frustrated by the wings play tonight. It has just been lacking that fluency that I've grown acustom to over the years. And as the score remained tied so late into the 3rd, Ozzie's center ice goal was infuriating me more and more. I mean, how the hell do you let that happen? Hossa's deflection was so minor and the puck still had 60' to go before it got to him. Plenty of time to adjust to that, no excuse, I told myself. BUT! After watching the post game and hearing Ozzie's and Babs reactions/quotes I am suddenly very calm. In a few moments I went from a state of pessimism to optimism. I def. failed to realize how little practice time the Wings have had over the course of the past month. Nothing I've read (and I read A LOT of articles) has talked about this very much.. but anyway, a win is a win and I sincerly hope Ozzie is right about being, "on the cusp of playing that dominating style of Red Wings hockey". GO WINGS!

Of all the players you could get for Dats or Z, you chose Getzlaf? I hope your not pursuing a carreer as an NHL GM..

During last broadcast they said that all WOW! cable users should tune in to FSN+ on channel 14 but it really doesn't seem like a channel that would play hockey. Most of the time it seems like it is locally broadcasted television Has anyone here who is a WOW! user watched a game on channel 14 before?

Too early to say if he will or won't stay. I don't think Hossa knows what he is going to do yet. So this guy doesn't know either. If he chooses to leave for more money and friendship than all the things he said this summer were BS.. which I don't think they were. The guy just wants to win games. I can only think of a handful of players that left this organization while we would have wanted to hang on to them. Hossa, Franzen, and Z will stay.

Babcock is going to create competition in net just like he creates competition for ice time. For that reason it's going to be 60-40 in Ozzies favor.. for now. If Ozzie has a few bad games we'll see Conks playing back to back nights.

Decided to send in my complaint once I read how effective it has been for some of you. It's been 34 days and my order hasn't been shipped. That does include the whole Zetterberg to Chelli fiasco but it's still incredibly slow..
