Finally some grit! And at less the price than the worthless P.O.S. Sammy. As someone said in a previous thread, this has to mean Kenny is stocking the cupboard for a Ryan or Nash trade to the Wings to go with Suter. I'd say the Wings are 2-1 on the day so far. Good signings for this and the Monster, piss poor choice bringing Sammy back. -

Noooooooooooooo! Never seen a guy shoot and miss the net more than Sammy. I was hoping when he left that was it for good. I guess that means Hudler will be back in about 2016 or so. -

No, because their goalie coach is very closed-minded. He makes the goalies conform to his style rather than let them play their natural style and then tweak it like Bedard does for the Wings goalies. -

Since there was no clear winner in the Bert/Weber fight and the Wings got the huge moral victory, that looks like the first 2 bones on my part. Atta boy Bert!

I'm in. $5 per series win, an additional $5 if it's a sweep. Similar to the Gregg Williams bounty program in the NFL, I will also throw in $10 if any of these players are knocked out by a Wing and miss at least a game: -Crosby (x2) -Cooke -Burrows -Pavelski -Kane -Hossa Also, I will pledge $2 for each fight a Wing wins, $3 for each Kronwall goal, and an extra $10 if we win the Cup.

He wants it more. Williams seems like he wanted to return, coast to the finals, and collect his ring. Abs is willing to muck it up in the corners and skate faster than Christopher Reeve if that means getting a spot on the roster.

Teh Jimmy will be here for a while I'm thinking (provided he can keep up playing anywhere close to this year). Had the Wings played Ozzie and/or a free agent backup and left teh Jimmy in GR this year, I have a feeling they would be out at Oakland Hills teeing em up this morning. -
I know that shootout goals don't count as official goals, but since it was 0-0 going into the SO, do you consider 55's goal a GWG? Or something else? Any rules experts, please feel free to chime in as I have been curious about this since the end of the game. Thanks!

Those are great odds that being a gambler myself, am going to jump all over!! I won $750 in 08 when the Wings won the Cup (13/2 odds at the start of the playoffs and a $100 side bet from a friend). Needless to say, when the final horn sounded, I felt obligated to buy the bar a round to celebrate. Hopefully they can do it again.
