Big move for the Pistons today acquiring Tobias Harris from Orlando. Would argue now that the Pistons' starting five can run with anyone in the East. Bench is questionable at best, but healthy, perhaps the playoff drought is over. All in all, gotta be happy with the job that SVG has done, especially with what was inherited.

What a weird period. First two Bruins goal were rough screens for Mr. AZ. Third goal I thought should have been an interference penalty when Pav was held up at blue line, Boston got the puck from that play. I'll take it though because DRW gained an advantage from the lack of good camera angle on the first goal. Good on that lady standing in the way at the Joe! Team player! As far as the second goal, I think since the high stick wasn't the last contact before the goal (since Pav put it in) and the high stick went uncalled, not a point of review. Let's go Wings! Need two points from this game.

Great to get another dub in a tight playoff battle. Games like this team's gotta win to stay in the hunt and they're proving it.

Saw in the post game that there were differing views in locker room. Abby said he followed through on his check shoulder all the way, someone from Florida post game said it was dirty. I personally think he may get suspended because of the injury and he didn't return, but it wasn't called on the ice so maybe he'll get off.

Initially despised it but have gotten used to it. Like when any website changes, takes some getting used to. Video highlights are still there - I found them to actually be improved with better editing of the television call for each side. Go to "Scores" and then "Videos" after clicking on the game you want to view. At least the nhl.com redesign seems not majorly drastic; I can still locate everything I once did as they are generally in the same spots. ESPN redesigned their website months back and I cannot stand it, never use it unless I really have to. Also as far as free radio, I have found using the Radio.com app to access 97.1 The Ticket works very well (or directly 971theticket.com), though it is about 30 seconds behind for me, which I view as manageable if I don't have Twitter open.

God I absolutely despise that rule. What a dumb rule.

Definitely surprised considering his position for TB and their current debacle with Drouin getting a lot of press, though that will probably (hopefully) blow over by the time this game happens. As opposed to Roy and Sakic playing in the game, they can just walk across the street for it. But will comment that it will be great, the Wings-Avs rivalry really defined that era of DRW for me. I do not doubt that Stevie, and all others, will be there and won't miss their chance to pay respects to their teammates and maybe more importantly, their opponents.
