What are your predictions for the season? Caldwell says their goal is to be better than last season (11-5) and I think that is possible, but will be difficult as they play a pretty difficult schedule this year. As always, I think the goal for the team should be to end their playoff loss streak, which now stands at 8. Anything less, and it's just same old Lions in my book. Can't wait for football season regardless.

Counting the Bolts out tonight. Chicago will close at home. Would be pleasantly surprised if they didn't.

Pulling for the Yzerbolts to take a 3-1 lead tonight. I do not hate the Hawks as a team - they are phenomenal. I just simply do not want to deal with them in dynasty talk if they win 3 of 5. They deserve it, but I will never root for them.

Can the Bolts please somehow pull this off? I want nothing to do with the Hawks winning three of five. That's a dynasty. I'm not feeling to good about it. Chicago is just too good. I despise them. I guess I have to respect them. But maybe Bishop can stand on his head and steal the series. Would be great.

I really cannot figure them out. Pitching staff isn't terrible, but it's not good either. The four main starters, even Price, have had their off nights. God knows what the deal is with JV, Rondon. Not counting on them. The V-Mart injury stinks. He doesn't seem himself out there. However Cespedes, even though he strikes out a lot, is pretty solid hitter when he doesn't have to be count on as the main guy - Miggy has that covered. Remain disappointed with JD and Castellanos, hoping for the turnaround from them at the plate but not counting on it. JD was amazing last year and I'm not saying it was a fluke, but he's gotta keep it up.

Think it's gonna be a really good series, looking forward to watching. Not huge on Ducks, but if they win, I will take solace in the fact that, A) It's not Chicago, B) It's not Chicago, C) Rooting for Boudreau and Kesler, always liked them, D) Rickard Rakell, Plymouth Whalers alum. That being said I got Hawks winning. Sigh.

Zoom. I really don't see any team remaining beating Chicago. Who will beat Chicago?

In reality, will it be Marchenko or Kindl in tonight? Kindl hasn't played a game in a while but is left-handed fill in for Kronner. Marchenko played well to begin but then was taken out, reasonably, for Smith. My pipe dream is Kindl and Marchenko both in and Zid out, who has had a few poor games in a row.

Weird game. Boatload of memorable plays in a thus far losing effort. Hoping for some goals in the third! LGW
