During the Red vs White game, they said that it's pronounced Brunner, as in runner. I like Burner haha. After Brunner is fine too!

I was looking at the rosters for the 2012 World Championships last night after hearing about Jimmy and Abdelkader on team USA and I wanted to get a look at what the other teams have so far too. I was surprised when I saw all the Red Wings on the Team Sweden roster but I thought that was just a place holder thing since it looked incomplete. I also noticed how sad Team Russia looked with a bunch of randoms from the KHL with the exception of 5 or 6 NHLers including Malkin. Then I came across this link : http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/2012/04/red_wings_pavel_datsyuk_to_pla_1.html Pasha might end up playing with Team Russia, that could be interesting to see what he can do with those guys, for the first time in a while, the Red Wings are out early so they can send a few players to the event. I think this may be pretty fun to watch our Red Wings in action on the international level, considering the way this year's playoffs are going (I'm looking at you, Western Conference) Rosters

I come home tired from working hard on my first day on the job. After reading this it made me completely forget about how tired I was. An emotional roller coaster from feeling sad about the retirement but at the same time happy thinking back and about how lucky we've been to have Lidstrom and being able to have watched him since I was a little boy up till now. Thanks for all the great memories, Lids! Please stay in the Red Wings organization!

It's that time again, the do or die time we all dread in the playoffs. Although I feel pretty nervous as usual in these kind of situation, I'm feeling quite confident that the Wings can get a win and take it back home for a game 6. They just have to stick to the plan and keep getting shots on Rinne (smart shots at least) and things should start going our way. This game will determine if it's just not our year or not. Not only because of the chance of elimination but a chance for the Wings to prove that they still have it in them to fight and survive. As long as that will is there, anything can happen. That being said, let's crush 'em and show them what the Red Wings are all about! Red Wings 5 (Datsyuk, Bertuzzi, Lidstrom, Filppula, Hudler) Predators 3 LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!
