YOU CAN'T DO THAT DURING A GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Predictions have a 1.2% chance of happening!!!!!!! (I made that up) Either way!!! WTF man. Don't jinx it.

http://www.channelsurfing.net/watch-nhl-3.html That's one. I'm looking for a better one though. It's pretty laggy for me, but it might be my connection. If you don't want to install Veetle: www.atdhe.net also has the stream. Also crappy for me. Both sources are running the same stream, so both sources seem to be sucking on the same bandwidth. On both sites, there isn't a Colorado oriented feed, so I think the problem lies in the fact that 1) Both sources are the same feed, which isn't common, and 2) There isn't an alternate feed for the Colorado broadcast on either site, so even Colorado fans are flooding those feeds. If you find better, please let me know.

Has been much of the season. That's why the only defense man ahead of him in scoring, is Buff...who I consider more of a forward than a defense anyway.

I'm on 7. But I went and chilled in the wood earlier, and drank 4 there. Cool place, the woods, especially when you're drunk.... Especially when you're high.....but we don't talk of such things...

Yeah!!!! I'm, slightly right so far! On the Radio he keeps calling Budaj "Bood-eye" Isn't it actually pronounced "Bood-ah"

Come playoffs, I'd been with my unit for nearly a year, so they just knew. They didn't even bother anymore. In the morning at formations they do accountability. I wasn't there EVER, during playoff games, but I had enough friends to cover for me. It got to the point where I would just flat out let them know one day, that I wouldn't be in until after the game the next day, and while I won't say everyone was exactly "cool" with that....enough people were to let me get away with it. It was a LOT harder to play off being sober, when I was drinking beer at 6am for the game, than had to go into work around 9 lol.

Nice. Didn't see Bert switch hands and go Right handed for a minute, to make that pass, lol. I'm so glad he's showing up this year (And didn't exactly do horribly last year). The Anti-Bert threads were getting incredibly old It seems like he's gotten a lot smarter about his play. In Vancouver, during his "prime" years, he was a big body, with a decent shot, solid offensive awareness. Seemed like his injuries took the game out of him for many years, but after playing a full season last year, it seems like his offensive talent has improved phenomenally. I like Bert with Hudler. I think Bert can finish when Hudler cannot, but Hudler's speed buys Bert some room to work. Now if only Hudler had some puck possession skills, maybe they could both score.

When I lived in Korea, I had to sneak away from work to watch games. Was in the army at the time. Games usually came on at like 6am. In the army that's Physical Training time. I can't even count the number of times I either played sick, or just flat out "vanished" from the group to watch games.

hrm, atdhe, and channelsurfing both broadcasting the same feed. Never seen that happen before. No wonder it's so laggy, twice as many people watching the same feed, and I'm sure other sources are pulling the same feed as well. Channelsurfing.net seems to be providing a slightly faster feed though. I kind of wish there was a feed of the Colorado announcers. Somehow, I get the feeling.....that channel would be a lot less laggy.

Anyone got a good feed that is NOT atdhe.net? I'm getting a horrible feed from them tonight. Prefer one with Detroit announcers, but just being able to watch the game would be nice

My ex girlfriend when I lived in Colorado knew Budaj. He was her favorite player. She was in his fan club. We'd get occasional tickets to the games for discount rates because of it. One of the games we went too was a Detroit game in Denver. She wore her Tanguay Jersey, I wore my Yzerman jersey. I got booed a lot, but I'm a pretty big guy so people did it from like 100 meters away. Ah....good times. I was sitting in the "Peter Budaj Fan Section" in my Red and White. This was in 2003 as well, so Animosity was strong. Avs had just won the cup in 2001. Detroit won it in 2002 (After beating the Avs, and the statue of liberty goal). I was in Colorado for Detroit's 2002 victory over the Avs too. There was a sports bar downtown Denver called "The Tin Lizzy" which would overflow with Red Wings fans. Good times, good times Yes, I do tell this story every time we play the Avs.

The opposition GDT thing is great. Hockeytown, we should practically be paying you for doing this thread every game. Only problem I have with the Opposition GDT, is after I get a few beers in me, I want to register an account and start posting to it.....but from experience that NEVER turns out well I like the quote: "I don't care if the Avs lose every other game on the schedule, just beat the Wings" Lol. Makes me proud. Otherwise, they seem pretty civil. I lived in Colorado for a few years, and while they had a buttload of Fair weather fans, most of them faded away, so a lot of their fans now are legit. Wings 4-2. Zett, Cleary, Hudler (Yeah, I said it), Franzen. Dunno about Avs. It's hard to pick when half the team that I recognize is injured.

    NHL Gamecenter

I used it a few years ago, but they offered a lot less features back then. At the time I was in Korea, and for the most part the feeds were about....eh...90% decent. Occasionally I'd get some lag, but the overall feed quality and speed was better than most of the free live feeds I've used. I liked being able to watch multiple games simultaneously, however. That was pretty cool. Is it worth $159? I guess that depends on how much $159 is worth to you. If you plan to watch a lot of games, it's the most convenient reliable way of doing it. But if I remember correctly they still suffer some blackout restrictions. Some of the features seem nice, like if I'm not mistaken you can watch entire games "later" on, or "Condensed" games with all the breaks and fluff removed. And you get the advantages of all of NHL.com stat tracking and stuff. When I purchased it the service didn't have nearly as many "perks" as it has now, but then again, when I used it, it was a huge pain in the ass to find reliable online feeds....which isn't as much of a problem anymore.

Good streams? Sorry, didn't go back through posts to find streams. That's a lot of searching. Anyone want to help out with streams? Good streams? Sorry, didn't go back through posts to find streams. That's a lot of searching. Anyone want to help out with streams? Edit: Sorry, it double posted, cause the "Multipost" feature kicked in. But then it just decided to post, and double it up. Sorry. I'm high.

Should we risk our future for an elite defenseman?

I agree, we should be looking around. That's for sure. I think we've been trying that for years in the draft market, with ehh mediocre success. He won't be someone we can just replace. Front office would be retarded if they aren't looking to fill that gap when he does retire. I'm just hoping one of our D-men this year steps up a bit, to soften the blow. What a system shock it will be, when he's gone. I'll cry. No really, I'll flat out cry.

Should we risk our future for an elite defenseman?

Considering Nick is leading all NHL defenseman in points, and tied for first on our team in points with Dats and Z..... Who's talking retirement? Sure, defensively he misses a step or two here and there, but if this year is any indication of what he's got left in the tank, he'll be trotting along for a few more years with the organization. I've never heard Lidstrom mention retirement. It's just all of us that talk about his retirement, lol. (DAMN!!! I been posting under my FB account for a year. Now that I cancelled it.....I'm down to a rookie again on my old name, lol. I been visiting this site for years, under like 6 different names. Wish there was a way to like....link them all together. Ah well...)

    Osgood.

Think about it. Osgood has 4 Stanley Cup rings. He has led us to the finals several times. 97, 02, 08, 09. In 08 he stepped in and basically saved our asses, when Hasek wasn't playing at a playoff level. His playoff stats are among the best in history, in terms of wins, save percentage, and GAA for the playoffs. Sure, he's a bit streaky, but under pressure Osgood has been, beyond any doubt our best playoff goalie in the last 5 decades. With an all star goalie lineup included Hasek and Cujo.....Osgood has done far more for our team than any other goalie since I started watching hockey. No goalie has more rings in the past 2 decades. I doubt many Wings fans underestimate Osgood anymore these days. In fact, I'm proud of the fact that after losing to the Pens in game 7.....not a single person with an IQ above 50 pointed the finger at Osgood. I'm happy to have Osgood back. Right now, come playoff time, there is not a goalie in the world I would rather have in net. You don't get 4 cup rings by being a lucky goalie. He is by far the most underestimated goalie in the league. It's the "Quiet nice guy syndrome" I suppose. I would more than bet that Osgood will win at least 1 more cup before he is done.

    Classiest Player List

Dumb list. I mean look at that list. It's a retarded ass reporter, who probably doesn't even watch hockey, putting names he knows on a list. Half of those people shouldn't be on that list. Iginla as second? Are you serious? Has he ever watched a hockey game? I mean c'mon. Kronwall is classier than half of those guys. Lol not saying kronwall should be on the list, obviously...just saying...... That's one of the worst most biased most uneducated lists I've ever seen. It'a joke. Where did you find this? The onion? I mean c'mon. Next thing we'll be hearing is that Bret Favre is the best goalie of all time.

    Kane gets away with it

So Hulder bought a prostitute, in a country where it's legal to do so...and that is somehow being compared to Kane attacking a cabbie? Morally, you might consider it wrong. Legally, so what. Hudler wanted to get laid, bought a prostitute...s*** happens. If a friend of mine went off and cheated on his wife, and then the next day attacked me over 80 cents....guess which one of those two would anger me more? Hudler Bought a hooker. big F'ing deal. Kane assault some guy. Far more drastic. Far more wrong. I couldn't give a damn less what NHL players sleep with whom, or pay for whom. Buying a hooker doesn't exactly smash someone's face in. Big difference. To compare the two, is an issue of morality. not legality. If I go buy a hooker tonight, guess what....I bet you're life won't change at all. If I get into your car and beat your ass, I bet you're life will change Morality, is not a very solid director of law.

    Kane gets away with it

Kane is a rich punk. Anyone else without millions and fame to his name, would not have gotten off so easily. I spent two years in juvenile for SPRAYPAINT, yet this guy attacks a cab driver over 80 cents, and is let go? Way to reinforce law, America. It just goes to prove that law is lopsided. Might as well start the "OJ chants" for this issue. By law, any normal mofo (That being you or I), would have served some time in this situation. Average sentence for your basic assualt and battery is 2-5 years. Unless, of course, you're rich.... I'm kind of glad he'll be playing again. But NO way in hell he should have gotten off that easy. No way in hell. Lucky rich f***.

    NHL Top 15 Goalies

Lol. It should be noted that I started the relatively controversial thread on Ozzie on this forum He gets overlooked a lot. I mean, ignore the fact that he has 3 stanley cup rings, and was the starting goalie three times in the finals. Ignore that the only two people even close to him in Stanley cup rings are Roy, and Brodeur. (Active players, I know how you guys like to nitpick details...Well roy's not active, but he was during Osgoods career.) Think about it really. All the big name goalies in the world....and yet Osgood, so far as pure playoff performance goes, has been to the finals more times than.....um....everybody, except Brodeur and Roy.......during his era. Wait, more than Roy. Roy backstopped 2 championships with Colorado. (Keep in mind, I'm just looking at the time "since" Osgood has been an NHL player, I keep saying this because I know someone is going to argue it with something completely out of context.) Brodeur backstopped 3, since Osgood came along. Osgood, Backstopped....2, was a backup for 1. Took Detroit to game freaking 7 of the finals, and missed backstopping 3 due to a 2-1 loss......meanwhile still posted best GAA and sv percentage of the playoffs. It's honestly, really dumb to not put him up with the best. His resume is possibly the best of active goalies. Brodeur has a bit of an edge on him.......but how do you not give respect to a goalie whom nobody but Brodeur (active players) has a better resume than? Roy was better, sure. But obviously not active anymore. But hey, two goalies have made it to the finals in the last two years (aka since salary cap). Osgood. Fleury. That's it. I haven't seen anyone else backstopping the finals in the past few years.....
