Made the trek down for game one of the '08 Finals. Incredible atmosphere and pretty much the only time I was in the majority as far as fan support haha. Biggest beer I have ever seen at a game too and it wasn't stupidly expensive. And of course the old school charm of troughs. Beating the Pens 4-0 didn't hurt either. Happy I got to experience it before it closes.

Was there last night. Pretty much the same story as Friday. Awful, awful defense. Was nice to see Larkin have a good game. Rogers Place I would give mixed reviews to but still a very nice building. -

I was there tonight. Not the biggest Mrazek fan but he got hung out to dry. Was sad as hell that they needed a miracle to get a point. Calgary was not good at all tonight but Kronner handed them a goal and that was it, Will be in Edmonton tomorrow too so hopefully this game angered them enough to come out and kick some ass. -
That was something else. Three straight against the top of the conference. Keep it up boys.

To be fair so is Jonathan Toews. Either way though it's a strange pick. Figured Larkin or Mantha at least. -
Minus being badly outshot, THIS is the team I wish we would see more often than not. Passion and deadly special teams, combined with solid goaltending. Hard not to like that.

They seriously should forfeit all games in Montreal. Embarrassment is almost assured and the refs are always extra ridiculous in this building.

'07 as well comes to mind for me. Who knows how it would have turned out if Schneider didn't get hurt. Winning 1-0 pretty much all of game 5 against the Ducks before they fluked it out to tie and then win in OT. Probably set the table for '08 but really could have been three straight finals appearances.
