Rick Nash. Guy who is big, not a afraid to through his body around, drives hard to the net, and scores goals. Too me Nash is the definition of a Power Forward. Defintetly a guy who uses his size to create space on the ice.

Philly got raped! They gave up way too much for a guy the will probably only have for one year. Like someone said before they have given up virtually 3 first round picks(Sbisa-1st round last year) Yes Pronger will make their D much better, but I guarantee they won't win the cup next year. In the cap world you can't give up picks like that.

Yzerman career Pts: 1755 Lemieux career Pts: 1723 Lemieux played about 600 games less than Yzerman, so if Lemieux was healthy in his career he would have probably challenged Gretzky for the scoring records. With that said, Lemieux scored so much because he didn't play defense. Yzerman could have put up many more points in his career, but once Scotty Bowman came to Detroit he totally changed Yzerman's game. He became a great two-way player that eventually led his team to 3 cups in 6 years. Yzerman may have been right up there with Gretzky as well if he didn't completely change his style of play. (Still is 6th all-time in points). Yzerman also had many injury problems during his career.

I could see him being traded to SJ, but there is no way Chicago can afford him. Barker and Versteeg are RFAs this year, while Kane, Toews, Skille, and Keith are next year. Also, the big contracts they gave to Campbell and Huet will also hinder them.

I agree. That is why I think they should pick Jeremy Morin. He is a pure goal scoring winger. He is a right handed shot(that we desperately need). He has decent size 6-1,189. He just turned 18 in April, so they would have plenty of time to develop him. What's not to like?

I always thought Thorne was the best hockey pxp guy. I would love it if he came over to Versus and NBC. His calls of the Yzerman double OT winner in '96 and the McCarty goal in '97 still give me chills everytime I watch them. It sucks he has been away for so long, but at least he still is the pxp guy on NHL 09!
