I agree, I believe Cleary didn't practice throughout the whole first round, but yet he played every game. They might play and they might not, but missing practice just gives them a little extra rest reagardless.

Actually, Maltby signed his contract before he was 35 (May 4, 2007, 33). Draper was over 35 when he signed. So Malts could retire and it wouldn't count against the cap.

These kind of idiotic statements by Roenick kind of remind me of some made by Brett Hull a few years ago. When Dats' contract was up Hull said that he wouldn't re-sign with the Wings because he didn't like Babcock, and his system. Also, that he wanted to play with his best friend Ovie. Personally, I love these lines. It's great to see Abby get a chance in the top two lines. If he does what he is supposed to do he will give more space for Hossa & Dats. He is a guy that provides energy while grinding out and going hard into the corners. He also has a scoring touch. I agree putting Holmer on the fourth line is a good idea until he can elevate his game to where it should be. He has been pretty ineffective, but you have to give a lot of credit to Pronger for boxing out Homer in front of the net.

I don't know if this is true or not.Sounds kinda fishy to me, but if it is true that is ridiculous. You don't ever hit a women no matter what. It goes to show that the ducks organization is classless from top to bottom. Their owner gets convicted of backdating stock options and then lying about it. Their GM throws chairs at women. Then you all know about the Ducks players. I also think it is quite ridiculous how some ducks fans reacted to this. Few quotes from Ducks boards: "Nice I would have done the same.
