They should change the way the draft is done. Draft should start with #17, then #18, #19, etc. That would be a balance between parity, opportunity for teams to get better, and prevent the tank. This way you reward teams who play hard ... right now, teams are obviously tanking to try to get better chance at 1st pick.

It always happen around this time of year with 10-12 games left ... they're plugging along and look like they'll make it into playoffs safely then they start playing so sh*tty. So both the goalies are about as 'good' ... -

Why would he want to come to Detroit ... especially if we have to dismantle the whole youth corp to get him. We're left with an aging group of vets who are in the twilight of their career. I wouldn't if I was Stamkos. It can't be the money, every team will offer him the big bucks so in order to win this lottery, it has to be something about the team and its potential to win the Cup. Logic says no. -

Just found out the final score ... I'm beyond words how effed this is, lost to the Leafs 1-0 ??!! When we miss the playoffs by 2 pts, we can all come back to this game. Feel like slapping all the forwards in the head ... can't even score 1 on Bernier! -
