Now at least we can say we were beaten by the Eastern Conference Winner (or SC winner ... we shall see). Cooper > Babcock, Therrien, Vigneault Bring on the Blashill era. -
Good for him, I've always thought that Bylsma was one of the better unemployed coaches. Now did Babcock do him a favour by raising the salary? ... I doubt he gets anything more than $2M/yr. Heard that it was for 5 years

This is kind of ancient in today's terms of social media but no threads on this ... because we are all in a frenzy about Babwatch. Anyhow, as you all know by now, Oilers announced hiring of McLellan. Great choice, classy coach. Oilers will be a force to be wreckoned with in 2-3 years. Anyone know the dollars and terms? http://oilers.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=768169 P.S. Oilers didn't even request official permission to talk to Babcock.
