Not only is Howie just average, whole team is just average. Mediocrity sux.

Yah, 1st year after big contract phenomenon ... this year is a write off for Howie. Average says it all. He'll be back next year as elite ... if not, then we'll have to talk about trading him.

Yes, like this pursuit, he's the kind of player that we can mold into the Wings style of D hockey. What would it take? Buffalo doesn't really need anything right now, maybe we can give them some veteran leadership for their upcoming drafts ... players like Cleary, Quincey, and Bertuzzi, and they can have Weiss too.

I see why St. Louis would be ticked off but to demand a trade because of that is juvenile and a bit of a diva. If he wants to be traded, trade him to a bottom feeder team. -
