7th round in 2014 plus a dud ... OK, I know it was only for 3 weeks of negotiating rights but better than nothing. I think it was just a classy gesture by the Wings who wants the best for Stuart. Bad thing is we will play him what 6 times in a year? SJ just got a bit better and we got a lot worst in the last 2 weeks.

Really, isn't the difference splitting hair? Willing to leave or wanting out is a very fine line if you stop to think about it. I think it was Luongo's respectful & public way of saying he wants out at the end of the season without actually saying, 'I want out'. -

Don't know what all the hype is all about. AV didn't say anything that people didn't know already. Everybody knew that Luongo wanted out at the end of the season. -

Did you mean Doan giving Brown an earful? I didn't see Doan giving Smith an earful. On another note, that Mike Smith is a volcano, he better learn to keep his temper under control but then look he has as a role model of a captain. -
I think it's a bit of disgrace that Canadian players don't treat this with a bit more competitiveness and zeal. An international competition is an international competition. I thought all the teams had their fair share of star players making it pretty good level hockety. Canada should be embarrassed that they lost in the quarters instead of treating it as some sort of 'I didn't make it to the NHL playoffs' or 'I got eliminated first round' vacation to Europe.

Who is more terse in post-game interviews ... Torts or Sutter? Is Sutter putting an act when he gives post-games? He almost pretends to be stupid and naive. Is he like that in the locker room?? -

Damn, first Canada loses then US loses. Howard is not looking sharp, Jussi goal on him was a weak one. Howie is flopping everywhere. 2nd goal was not on Howie but then he lets one in with 8 sec left ... Filppula advances. Anybody thinking that International hockey is looking more like NHL on bigger ice, lots more after whistle stuff, before International hockey was pretty clean.
