Pens make me Puke!!

If we can get him at a decent cost than I'm all for that but I'm not for trading away any more Draft Picks or any of our good young prospects. If we dont get him than fine let's pursue someone else but I'm not for giving up a ton for him.

Would like to see the Kid in the line-up on a permanent basis this coming season. He'll add so much needed youth to the roster and provide a spark.

It's not a realistic deal and Hudler is nowhere near where he was before he left fo the KHL. Yes he improved this past season vs the the 10-11 Season but not as good as he was in 08 or 09. We could used the money to get someone a bit better. So it's how I feel no one is asking you to feel the same.

If the Wings sign Hudler I will completely have lost all faith in Ken Holland.

I'm sorry please forgive me if I'm being stupid but what the Hell is Holland doing. Why are we trading Brad Stuart's rights for Andrew Murray's rights and a 7th Round Condiotional Draft Pick. What's the point of Andrew Murray and this is Brad Stuart he was very solid on this team; another elite team like the Sharks. We can't get at least a 4th Round Draft Pick that we actually get instead of a 7th Round Cond Pick?? This just sounds to me like we're getting the worst end of this deal. I would think we could get a lot more for Brad Stuart's Rights. I realize they are only rights but this just doesn't sound like a good deal for us. I mean if nother works out than neither team get's anything and what was the point of that. I'm sure that Stuart will most likely sign with SJ so we'll most likely get our 7th Round Draft Pick but do the Wings really need a guy like Andrew Murray? Seems to me like we need more Impact Players and not ones like Murray. Just my opnion take it for what it is, but I'm losing faith in Ken Holland.

No thanks and we've already given up our first round pick for this season and I don't like the thought of giving up any picks. So I don't want him and wouldn't sign him.

For me it's Wake me up when the Summer ends!! September is the start of my favorite time of the year. I'm only truly happy from September 1 till December 25th about 9PM. I'm still watching Hockey I love hockey to much to not want to get as much as I can so I'm definetly still watching the Stanley Cup Finals in hopes that the Kings Win!! I'm also playing NHL 12 for PS3 in the Be A GM Mode. Once the season is completely over I will be anixously awaiting the NHL Awards Show, the NHL Draft, and the Opening of the Free Agent Market on July 1. In between those times than after July 1 right up until September 1 I'll be watching a bunch of old tapes that I've taped off the tv from past years hockey games. I've taped a bunch of Hockey games in the past and the beauty of it is that I seem to forget the results of alot of them so it's like watching it for the firs time. I've taped just little peices of games a to just highlights and entire games. I've taped some Pro Beach Hockey and some ECHL and AHL All-Star Games so I usually try to drown myself in old hockey until the new stuff comes along. I'm also considering going to the Detroit Red Wings Development Camp in July up in Traverse City ans well as going to the NHL Prospect Camp and Detroit Red Wings Training Camp in September as always. I'm always in my driveway in the summer shooting at my net plus I just got my very own Sled for Sled Hockey so I'll be spending a ton of time at the rink trying to get better and prepare for the coming Sled Hockey Season. Oh and I'm also always looking to help my coaches make the schedule for the up-coming season so I'm always trying to make contacts with as many Michigan teams as possible to maybe get a game or event scheduled for the up-coming season(s). I hate just about everything about summer so I really try to keep myself emersed in Hockey all year long.

I have to vote other and say Cujo. We only gave him one good year to win the cup once he came here and we did not preform our best. Losing to the Ducks in the first round of the 03 Playoffs was a huge dissappointment than the year after I beleive we got back Hasek and that kinda put a kink in our goal-tending plans and I feel he never really had a ligit shot at really winning the Cup here in Detroit!!

I'd definetly consider signing him under the right conditions!!

Quite suprised that the Caps did this deal but their decision.

I couldn't allow Helm to go in this deal but I if it didn't include him I'd seriously consider it. I still think the Wings would come out better IF THEY GOT Parise and Suter.

IMO NO to Oshie or Kane. Let's go after Parise and Suter and see who we can bring up from GR. Maybe we can even make a couple trades at the Draft and get a couple good picks and maybe a 1st round pick back.

I have to say this is quite a suprise but I do recall hearing rumors about him possibly wanting to be traded out of Boston. I don't know how true it is but I did hear it from a couple different sources, perhaps that has something to do with his decision to take next season off. Whatever the reason I hope all is well with him and he returns to the NHL soon.

Either Pavs or Z would be fine by me.

This was going to happen sooner or later and I for one am glad it happened sooner. Yes we will have to find a suitable replacement for him and that will not be easy at all and I hate to say it I'm losing my confidence in Kenny Holland as a GM to get players in here that can get us back to the Cup. It's better to happen now while he can leave on a semi-positve note that he didn't stay and become a liabilty to our team like we've seen in the past he's leaving knowing he game his best and did all the could to contirbute to the team. We will now have the space to go after some big-name UFA's that can provide a youth injection to our roster which I think is what we need. I still have faith that our newer younger players like Mursak, Emmerton, and Kindl as well as Smith and Nyquist will get better in the years to come given they get ample ice-time to improve their skills. Obviously I want the Wings to get back to the Cup ASAP but it may take a bit longer to gather a team with the right chemistry and nucleas to do so. This is a changing of the gaurds but it doesn't have to be a bad thing. I'm anxious to see what is to come.

One thing I remember from the end the regular season last season was watching a Devils game and they were talking about an interview they did with Martin Brodeur and he was saying how disappointed he was about the Devils not making the playoffs so for the Devs to make it to the Finals this season there seems to be a fire burning deep in the heart of the Devils playes and a bit of un-finished business for them. For once I'm pulling for a Calaifornia team in LA but either way it should be a great series. It would be more impressive to me if the Kings were to win the cup being an 8th Seeded team and beating Seeds 1, 2, and 3 in that order in the West you could almost say it would be a monumental blow-up if the Kings lost to a 6th seeded team. Not to dis-credit the Devils and their ability but it would be pretty cool to see Cinderalla Make it all the way to the Ball. So with that said Go Kings!!

It would be great if it really does happen so I'll cross my fingers but I won't hold my breath. Go Wings!!

I hate to say it but I think the better the Devils do in the playoffs the less chance we have of bringing him here or even the Devils letting him go anywhere, and the Devs are in the Cup Finals so I can't see him going anywhere.

This may be a bit extreme but if Holland signs Hasek as a Back-up or any other roster spot on this team I'll officialy call for Holland's Head on a Platter for examination.

This sounds really good. I hope they get working on it real soon. I have to agree that the Joe is old technology and very antiquated. Yes I know that there have been a lot of GREAT GREAT Memories there but to be perfectly honest the first time I went to the Joe of a Detroit Red Wings Game in 2000 I really wasn't that impressed with the Joe. It was great to be in it for the first time and have that experince but it really wasn't all that impressive. I've seen much better arenas even smaller Minor/Junior League Arena's that looked better so hopefully this happens soon and in a few years time the Wings will be playin in a Brand Spankin New Arena with all the amenities that a Hockey Arena Needs!!
