Pulling hard for the Isles because i always loved Mike Bossy as a kid, and Ken Morrow grew up two towns away. I'd also love to see a NYI vs NYR matchup if possible.

I'm gonna pick the Preds in seven.

I could draw up charts and graphs and crunch data and numbers and talk for hours about matchups and who'll play where. One injury and or one funny hop and that's all drivel. The Wings will produce enough offense to win 2, maybe 3 games this series. Mrazek will have to steal 2 games. Faceoff % is going to matter in this series A LOT. At the end of this series look at who won that battle and by how much. My key player to watch is Ericsson. We need to mitigate their offensive prowess and he's got to play huge this series. I mean Chara-like.

Isles now up 3-1 and looking for home ice vs Washington

It'd be nice to have a thing like they do in soccer at the World Cup on the scoreboard as to whom you'd be playing "If results hold" and you could change that on the Wings feed depending on their score and on how Montreal and Tampa are doing

It's all perception. If Cole and Franzen were ready to roll we'd be a favorite. A lot of chances for the kids to continue into playoff warriors and I think guys like Nyquist and Tatar are ready to take that next step after last year. I like our first round chances because the Wings will be playing with house money.

We'll play who we play and beat them, See Ducks, Anaheim a few seasons back. In the long run I think Mrazek will be the better goalkeeper, that being said Jimmy is my #1 guy in Game 1. Jimmy is more likely to forget a good goal or a bad one for now.
