I did some checking and a week back Lyle Richardson mentioned the idea of Zidlicky to Detroit.

What utter crap. I like when Olbermann holds people to account, especially stupid people in sports. He can also be a boor. As far as the Original Six, I have a hat with the Detroit, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, NYR and Berwyn logos. It says right on the hat "Original Six" on the front and "Old Time Hockey" on the back. Guess that proves Olbermann wrong.

Well he's been playing 20 minutes + a night and they're using him in all special team situations so I think he's versatile enough to maybe eat some minutes down the stretch and could be a nice insurance policy. And my interest is a veteran guy who won't wet himself if thrown into a game 6 and won't cost much unless the Wings land a Tyler Myers etc.

Tonight is a bad night. No candy-coating it. Montreal won, Boston won. Got smacked in Tampa in a battle for first. That being said it always seems a team with a winning streak gets blown out when the streak gets broken. What the Wings need to avoid at all costs is to lose say 4 of the next 5 now that the streak is over because that seems to happen a lot too.

SO sick last night and again this morning. Went to bed up 3=1, wake up to a 5-4 SO win. I'll take it.
