Oh, and before we crucify Filppula let's think back to the sick toe drag to set up Nyquist in OT in game 2. Yeah it was a Red Forman "Dumbass" special tonight. It did NOT lead to the third Ducks goal, Perry's trip led to the Ducks third goal. It did however make it possible and nobody I'm sure feels worse than Flip. No doubt Babcock had a word with him. I think he'll make amends in game 7. But do it again and you're playing with Emmerton and Paul Ysebaert. -

3 things I liked: Watching Nyquist's confidence and his overall game grow more and more. I think Big E is really rounding into a very solid defenseman. Jiri Hudler or Robert Lang didn't take any hooking penalties. -

You can see a huge influence of Datsyuk on Flip's game. He's taking his time and looking around and becoming more dangerous offensively. -

I had the damndest dream last night. I dreamed the Wings came home for Game 3 on an emotional high and simply played like ass all night long. I dreamed Abdelkader got kicked out of the game. I was shocked awake by the thought that Damien Brunner as the last guy up the ice on a powerplay tried to make a cute move around a forechecker. Just as Getzlaf shot at Jimmy I woke up in a cold sweat. Ahhhh, it was all a dream. Think I'll go check out TSN. See you all later. -

Yes, as my life is flashing before my eyes one day, unlike Game 4 of the 1997 SCF or Game 7 of the 2002 WCF or March 26, 1997 tonight's game will not be part of the end of life montage. Completely forgettable. Win game 4 and we'll see what we can still do. -
