Unless someone uploads them to youtube, probably not.

Bolded the parts that made me laugh hysterically. Hudler can easily come back; I'd imagine at the very least at the end of his two-year deal in the KHL he'll be back in the winged wheel. Lidstrom needs to hang them up? Do you seriously watch the games that we play, and specifically watch Lidstrom? Even if he's not the superstar he once was, he's still easily one of the top defenders in the league, and easily top-pair material. I don't expect 80 points out of him, but he should be able to hit 50 points and log tons of ice time. $4-5m to keep him around would be amazing. Stuart as our #1 defenseman moving forward? Uh, no. It'll be Kronwall, Ericsson, or Kindl. Stuart is 30; he's not going to improve much, if at all at this point, and he still makes plays that are downright retarded. Kronwall is much better both defensively and offensively, and Ericsson and Kindl both have real potential and are fairly young.

Homer will be at least $1m; it's unrealistic to think otherwise. We'll probably see a front-loaded 2 year deal for him, around $3m: $2m next year, $1m the year after. Lids will probably re-sign for around $4-5m if he comes back (and I think he will; the team needs him), single-year deal. Maltby will probably retire, and Draper will probably retire after next year.

There's no way Fedorov takes the #1 or #2 center spot from Dats/Malkin.

And if we win tomorrow night, we're tied for 6th. Oh s***! We're not even close to out of the playoffs, so sit your ass down and quit your bitching.
-
Yeah, except we're one of the best defensive teams in the NHL (7th in GA/G). The only teams better than us in the West, defensively, are Chicago, San Jose, and Vancouver. We've also been missing quite a few scorers this year. Good stat, though.
-
His defensive ability hasn't diminished at all, though. Despite how bad the Wings have been, he's still a +17 and performing great on the defensive end of the puck.
-
Well, Lilja is almost as good as Green when he's injured. Without the injury, he'd definitely be above Green in the line for the Norris.
-
.870 Sv% isn't up to par for an NHL goalie. He got bailed out a ridiculous number of times tonight. I'm not blaming him for the loss, but he wasn't playing well, and that's a fact.
-
If Mike Green wins a Norris, there will be riots. Lebda and Meech deserve the Norris before him, regardless of how many goals he puts in the net.
-
Osgood had my trust until he started letting in weak goals. We're not in a position where we can afford to let Ozzie play like crap to try and find himself; we need points. Howard will obviously get the vast majority of starts until he s***s the bed.
-
I take no credit for either of these.
-
If anyone argues that Ozzie is the player that most exemplifies being a Wing in the Illitch era, they're probably an idiot, especially with a guy like Lidstrom—or hell, even Draper—around.
-
The only way Helm would be a logical choice in a SO is if they were using lacrosse (or even bigger) goals. He only finds the net when he's scooping up the garbage in front.

Well I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night, and I say you're wrong.
-
Bert, Eaves, Miller, in that order. The rest are lazy bums that need to learn how to shoot.

This is very true, and hilarious. Then again, Wings fans have had the same attitude in years past, so if we probably shouldn't be throwing any stones.
-
To be completely frank, what your girlfriend's mom may get from Lidstrom's wife and passes on to your girlfriend who passes it on to you probably isn't very reliable at all. As a couple people have said, Lidstrom retiring is some of the worst possible news that this organization can get; yes, we can get some good players with that cap space, but I don't think most people realize how good Lidstrom truly is. I wish he would play until he'd older than Chelios is now, but I sincerely doubt that will happen. At this point, I'm just hoping for another year or two out of him.
-
At least Chicago fans aren't hypocrites, whining about Pens fans booing Hossa last year, then booing him this year. That's all I have to say on the subject. There are terrible fans on both sides, and frankly, it's about even. Detroit isn't any classier than anywhere else.
-
I agree. Shut the f*** up, Ozzie. Just stop some shots when you get a chance, instead of letting in 3 goals on 11 shots.
-
So you're basically saying that you're an imbecile that has an irrational bias that would make you possibly the absolute worst person to talk to about trades? Gotcha.
-
I think he's already done, but they're just throwing him in every once in a while to see if he shows some desperation.

Leino is a healthy scratch tonight for May, per mlive.

If Ovie drops the gloves and actually fights someone without one of his teammates coming in, other players will know that they can get him off the ice without any serious consequences just by being ****** bags. Had his teammate not stepped in, you'd have seen a lot of guys trying to pick fights with Ovie, and I don't think he could have not taken a lot of them without losing some serious face. It was an incredibly smart move by Bradley.

It was awesome on all accounts. Ovie willing to drop 'em, Bradley backing up his captain, and Downie for getting Ovie in the mood to drop 'em. Awesome to see all around.
