We are a combined 6-5-2 vs Boston, Montreal and Tampa. We are 2-5-2 Vs Pittsburgh NY Rangers and Philly. Although I like our chances vs Pittsburgh, the long run Boston maybe be better. But then our team is completely different then our opening day roster..... so this is all meaning less numbers.... Maybe if I put it in a pie chart?

Boston's camp is embarrassed by the last time we beat them (6-1 win) I read a quote from Krug that they are going to be sending a message in case they meet in playoffs. the message is its going to be "tough hockey". I could be wrong, but if an infraction occurs with a open net it is not a penalty shot. It is an automatic goal. This is usually called when the goalie is pulled. Washington got away with this against LA. To push the game in to OT for 1 point..... too much gray area for my liking. As for the the ref over ruling Toronto this has bothered me for some time. See Brad Mays disallowed goal. I remember reading reports that Toronto outright told the ref he is making the wrong call. He did it anyway. Is it pride? I don't know but the league office needs more power in making theses decisions. I might be alone here but they need to have 1 ref on the ice and 1 in stands with access to video.

I think part blame has to go to the Pens organization. I strongly believe they don't only tolerate this behavior they encourage it. When your captain is know as one of the biggest immature complainers in the league and your owner was known for the same thing. Everyone underneath follows suit. I could not believe this, if the game was reversed last night I would be mad at the defense for all the odd man rushes caused by pitching. 1st goal unlucky bounce of the stick. 2nd goal was a goal scorers goal. He could of had a better angle. The 3 goal that is the goal that leaf nation was the most mad about is the most funny. If Alfie missed that I would have been mad. he is a goal scorer you don't miss on those shots. this is not Miller of Abby shooting. It was someone who is paid to score goals.

Great Videos. In the Holy sniper the first goal reminds me of the Yzerman's 1996 double OT goal. just a beauty. The rest of the videos remind me Brett Hull. hopefully he can be as sneaky.
