I hope this isn't how this season is going to be, a suspension for a normal gesture while a penguin takes out a player with his knee. You can tell that the Pens are still the boss' pet team.

What's funny is the 15 people at the games at the beginning of the season and last season are the only ones that know anything about the chat, the rest are just mimicking like 3 year olds. 80% of the fan base ARE band-wagoners, I live in IL I know how we(as a state not me personally) think of Chicago hockey, prior to this season of course.

Our local team here is call the Mallards, pretty much the same thing. But the reason they're called the Mallards is because we are on the Mississippi River and there are TONS of ducks here, but why Anaheim is still the Ducks I don't know, at least we have a reason. For the 2 years we had Calgary's AHL team they changed the name to the Flames, that was the worst, we actually lost ticket sales because of the loyals that hated the name change. But what about Rockford Ice Hogs? Or even the Iowa Chops, with a big pig head as the logo, lol.

As much of an Ozzie fan as I am, I have to agree. The officiating and diving is what killed the game tonight, and if it weren't for Howard it would have been way worse. Ozzie can step it up for the playoffs, yes, but has he ever faced that many shots and let in fewer goals? I think not. Any time he faces 30+ shots it's usually 4 goals or so, Howard made some great saves, having said that, he has let some soft goals in this post season, but he is still a great goaltender and he still deserves to be in the pipes.

LMAO, Franzen is better than Crosby. Yes Crosby has talent, but he is not the best in the league(granted this year he has started to really develop).

Quite comical for those who watched Red Wings Live post game. Ken Daniels said Cindy Crosby, or at least if truly sounded like that, when discussing Howard and the face wash. Any one else catch that? I had to rewind it twice and all 3 times I heard "Cindy Crosby"

I hate them both with a passion, Ovie is a dirty player, and Cindy is just a crybaby that should never have been the "face of the NHL" And whomever said that they weren't handed the cup was dead wrong. You see that picture of Bettman when the Wings were stomping the Penguins, he was pissed beyond belief, then all of a sudden the rest of the games went to the Pens? No Malkin suspension? Since we're talking about cliches OK, here's one that bugs the s*** out of me. 110%? that's not even possible, it just sounds retarded. @OP I almost totally agree with you, yes the ENTIRE season is "when it matters most" because without wins there you will not make the playoffs. However, look at Ozzie last year, if he did not step up his game, the Wings would have been out in round 1, so there can be an argument about that being "when it matters most."

Yeah, there has been plenty of times where they said that there will not be a regular 3rd jersey because Mr Ilitch wants to keep the traditional logo intact and the only one being used. What I don't understand is why are 90% of the bad calls against the Wings? No matter how much evidence you send them, they will ALWAYS say that there is not a conspiracy against the Wings, that's total bullsh**T and everyone knows that. I really hope you can help in fixing h tis, but there's no way that Bettman will ever take it easy on the Wings, he forced a lot of the calls last playoff that allowed the Pens to win the cup and he's personally behind the one sided calls against the Wings. BTW, those are videos are a great start, all within the past 2 years too, just amazing, lol.

I watched him at a few games here against the Quad City Flames (before Calgary pulled them) and I also thought he seemed way too bored. He played well in GR, but I don't think the game was fast enough for him, imo.
