Dylan just seems to fit that mold! I saw an interview with Larkin the other day and it was regarding (mostly) about a visit to the locker room by Ted Lindsay. They asked him (Larkin) what the feeling of a player like Lindsay coming in and such-one of the things he said was that "he doesn't want to take a back seat to anyone" and I thought that said a lot about how he feels about his game.

Im just happy Larkin is having a great time out there. Kid is looking every bit as good we think he is!! Aside from him I honestly cannot enjoy the skills comp anymore, I have a 5 year old and love daughter BUT I believe there is a time and a place for kids skating on the ice and wearing chewie masks, the NHL allstar game should not be one of them. It looks more and more ridiculous every year, or maybe Im getting older and more crabby.

I can't think of a team that would want to take on Howard and his almost $5,300,000 salary. Puts him at 18th for yearly earnings among fellow NHL netminders, I love Jimmy and all he did for us but he was over paid a bit which will make him very hard to move. Especially while playing the way he is at the moment, hopefully he can bounce back. Toronto needs a goalie, did Babs like Jimmy?!

I agree that switching Helm for Jurco is a good idea. Jurco is looking great in the past couple couple games and it could be a good idea to stroke his ego here.

I keep thinking they're on the threshold of finally getting into that scoring groove. Datsyuk is looking confident finally and his goals will come, the Goose has to let loose soon-I would like him every day to stand in the slot and shoot 500 pucks into the net. The dude gets at least 3 golden op's every game!

I think we were hoping that the old change of scenery would do the trick to get his offence clicking again. I even thought Green may be the answer to quarterback our powerplay too, so far no. Edit: Also Datsyuk is getting the chances he just needs to get his finish back. Nyquist needs to f$#@ing score, hes gone from snipe to wipe Richards chances are going up and I think he'll start to bury more soon. Maybe they are all waiting for the playoffs to click for once

I really enjoyed the Larkin/Datsyuk/Richards line the other night! They looked great together, and Ive always said that Tatar and Dats have super chemistry together too so this should be a great frigging line.

Looking forward to this one. Tarasenko really putting the pressure on the magic man to be extra magical tonight. Should be a great game, I kind of feel bad for Jimmy because I LOVE Mrazek starting all the time. LGW

I am really liking the goalie situation at the moment. Its not too often we have a tandem like these two...I cannot help but think that Mrazek will no doubt be the better goalie at the end up the day but this competition will be great for Jim

It does show that the wings brass are giving the kid a nod. He's been better then expected-after seeing the drunken teletubbie on youtube I hoped he'd stick around a while...just saw on the update we lost, oh well they put up a great end there against a pretty well iced hawks.
