So far Ken Holland has done a great job this off season. Green and Richards both bring to the table what we need, goals. Now just sign goose, and perhaps make a trade with our excess forwards for a Kadri or something

Getting more scoring depth isn't a bad thing, especially when you have 2 big question marks with Datsyuk & Franzen. Which is another reason why it will be nice to see the goose locked up too..I feel Dats will be out longer then expected unfortunately so I would much rather see Richards out there then someone else...(cough cleary cough)

I definitely feel like we gained a huge plus on our back end. With Marchenko and Oulette so close the signing of Green is great....Though I've seen him play a lot and he has a lot of moments of defensive lapses (we're used to it) BUT he has the potential to give that Subban like spark that's rarely on our side anymore it seems. Again I love this move

Agreed with a tiny deal it wouldn't be a bad gamble....but even signed to a 2 million dollar deal he's a gamble, that said I would 100% rather have Semin then Cleary

If I was ilitch I might raise the bar and say- "Ken I want a cup in Detroit this season or you're done." THEN see how Kenny would build a team....perhaps for the new building, but the mans got to be feeling the fire at this point

I think that the wings are in a lonesome category here as no other team has been as in the mix to win year after year etc. the result obviously is far less bang for our buck in drafting which has an eventual effect on the team IF the GM doesnt make some bold moves... ...Holland needs to at some point pull a rabbit out of a hat here to get the big red machine going again, as people say over and over, Ken was put n a great position with a hell of a club and hasnt made that big splash since when, the Hoss?

For the right package I wouldn't mind seeing Mantha go...It is just really strange timing isn't it? Manthas stocks aren't even that high at the moment, under achieved in his first year and was publicly scorned for it by Devellano. I just don't see much of a return on this or do I get Hollands tactic other then to say we're all in folks...

This Cleary sh*t is getting ridiculous. Great guy & apparently a great leader BUT around that locker room there is no lack of depth in the leader department. There is a lack of depth in the goal scoring department however and signing Cleary certainly inhibits us filling his spot with Pull's (or someone else)

I really hope Babs sticks around. I think as he wants to keep winning-he has stated it often-that he'll stay with the team that has 24 straight playoff's in a row, not all great show's but attempts none the less. This team has the potential to be absolutely fantastic, with a few additions, Pulks, Landon, Marchenko all full time would be awesome, time will tell i guess

Very bold move and at this point it's as much directed at the players in front of Howard and Mrazek as it is at those two...One of the things about Mrazek that has been his biggest asset is his compete level is higher then most. The kid competes, I think he's going to do very well.

I'm on the fence with if Cole will be any more effective then Sammy/Cleary/Bertuzzi/Modano but it certainly isn't a bad signing all things considered. Now the Pylon is another story, I have a feeling we are going to get him and I'm nervous as hell at what the terms are going to be...

I love torts too. He's just too much in Toronto and visa versa...... Who I think will end up at the helm is Paul Maclean, he was under Babs and at this point the closest thing they have to him until the end of the season, and this team needs a coach.

Babs won once with pulling the goalie, he didn't even let the team ralley behind it and he pulled him again. Then he pulled him again. Wow is all I can say. Absolutely pathetic to watch
