I agree 100%. Im curious on who they run with from here on out, but one thing is for sure lady luck has not been on their side in a while so I'm pretty sure she due for a visit...and I dare say it's the perfect time.

Arg, I was really hoping for this one! I really hope Goose burries one in the shoot out or breakaway soon so he can get some finishing confidence, kids got some moves thats for sure. I didn't get a chance to watch more then the condensed game but the goalies both looked great but our guys have got to find a way to score some damn goals.

First of all is it possible for our roster to look like this? Secondly I think we lack creativity because our talent pool on the ice, we have it in our system just not on the ice. No way Miller or Abby (I do like what he brings though and think this time with dats has been good, but lets finish it now) should be in the top six. If we used these lines I think we would see some magic, they also need a time to gel as a line and create chemestry too. This folks with the addition of Helm could be awesome. Congrats Jimmy! Look 6 years is perfect imo, Mzarek will more then likely spend 2-3 more years in GR then come up and back up Howard for a year or two then hopefully take over the net while Jimmy backs up for Mzarek for his remanding year or two. All while Mzarek is still on a nice petit rookie contract. (I just noticed how many times I said "year or two", giving myself some grace I guess )

I saw the Wings play the Leafs at Maple Leaf Gardens with my ol' man 22 years ago. I arrived as a Leafs fan and Steve Yzerman changed that by halfway through the first period, even as a ten year old I could see that his team was the team I wanted to watch. I never looked back LGW

I haven't given this much thought, but I'd say based on the Tatar situation alone that it seems likely. Not end of the world disagrements just not eye to eye. Kenny wants Tatar up, ok. Can Tatar play in the top six Babs? No. Cleary and Abby it is then.

Good for Clowe he did well in his debut, I wouldn't of minded him on the Wings at all, but we wont so suck it.

Could someone please explain this to me please, because from we all just saw over the past week a lot of trades made me think REALLY?? I like this post! This is what has been on my mind, we have A LOT of expedible/3rd or 4th line guys out there...I could see Jarnkrok having a very short stay in GR if he adapts well to the smaller ice before hitting the big show. I don't mind doing nothing as long as we use the honest to goodness BEST pieces we have.

I don't disagree but the question was about Franzen's production VS salary. I do not know how you can ignore his numbers, I don't see Mule as a liability out there either, just appears to coast and not try too hard a lot...Well guess what it's a business and good numbers don't lie.
