Tampa seems to understand that injuring a Wing and taking him out of the game is enough to derail the entire team. Best remember that on Saturday. They have been headhunting Pavel and Mraz the entire series... if taking Glenny out was enough to make the team unravel, then we may have a problem here.

I am not even upset. They had it won and gave it away. So it goes. Series tied... going to TB now, where they have the best home record in the league. Not a very good plan, Wings. What can one say about this? SMH

Jimmy is very aware of the situation, and he knows this is how it goes, sometimes. I have said before (and am sure I will again), Jimmy will be ready if he's needed. It's Petr's job right now, undoubtedly. It's why we watch hockey. You never know what will happen. I am grateful we have two goalies who are able to rise to the occasion when needed... I am thrilled for Mraz and I have little doubt that Jimmy is just as proud as can be right now.

that was more fun than I can remember in quite some time... aside from the penalty fest, great effort. And Mrazek is the real deal. I couldn't be more pleased. I have another Czech goalie to love, as a bonus! I love this kid. He is cool as can be, and yet has that quirky fire that makes for a truly great goaltender... I think Petr's job description just jumped a couple of pay grades. More of this Thursday, please, minus the PKs, which were great - but make me nervous, indeed. Bet Glenny is still grinning.

Great job on the GDT as always, Mikey. Thank you! Dearest Wings, I love you so much, please shoot the damned puck more than 14 times and stay outta the penalty box and other such shenanigans. Matinee game + NBC is rarely a good thing for us. A little advice: Check. Then check some more. Here a check, there a Czech, everywhere... back, front and sideways - you get the idea. TB will not play perimeter hockey, and Gigantor-goalie will not suck (as much) this game.. Mraz should not be setting records for the most goals faced in a playoff game, seriously, just because he can do it. LGRW!!!

Mraz in post-game interview, seems much older than he is, and is just one calm, cool little Czech cucumber. Impressive. 44 saves, he laughed and said it was "fun"

Buffalo Sabres have been my long-time underdog team, one that I wish could have some success for the sake of their fans, especially. I have good friends who live there, great knowledgeable hockey fans - they deserve to have a team they can rally around and have some fun.
