nah, that was back in the day long long ago (1978 or so) when I was a grad student at Indiana University/Bloomington. He is from Seymour IN... used to play a bar downtown called the Bluebonnet Bar... $1 cover.. and he'd get up on the bar and play for us... He goes by John Mellencamp as an adult, I think.

This version of the Red Wings is not capable of overcoming a one goal deficit. That's really too bad. They did their best. Perhaps one day they will be rewarded for it, but not this season, I guess. -

Howard has played very well tonight, would have been worse without him. The winning goal for CHI was not his fault... Wings were at a disadvantage thanks to blind officiating. -

I would say what the Hell was that, Wings? but really, it defies description... on a PP two men up, and we give away the puck and let Dallas score. Why not? Well that sucked. Glad I didn't go to Dallas for this one... they are not good winners there. Not that Wings deserved to win. Please fire all of the coaching staff now. We couldn't possibly do any worse. PS - Sunday game vs. Chicago is on NBCSN. Of course it is.
