I got home halfway through the 1st and thought ESPN scoreboard was wrong, not updating, etc. Then I watched the rest of the period. Really, Wings? 2-16 SOG???

I also noticed that, T. I am so sick of seeing our guys get mauled... with no consequences at all, either from officials or our players standing up for each other. I miss Mac - he would have at least glowered at the other team and made them think he was going to get them next shift...

I have been saying for several years, the Wings must score 30% more goals than any other team in order to win a game, since so many of their perfectly good goals are disallowed... and the refs make sure the ice tilts in the direction of whatever team the Wings are playing. Must find offense, somehow. Jimmy was spectacular tonight... D was adequate. Wings must become over-achievers and soon, if they expect to succeed.

Wings "won" as far as I am concerned. Glad I am not a fan of a team that has to cheat to get an extra point. Go, Wings!!!

I think there is no point reviewing this non-call, which resulted in a win for the Ducks. That's how they usually win, actually. This was a missed call, plain and simple. Wings should have gone to the PP and possibly win or at least tie for a point. In the future, the D needs to be responsible, and the Wings have to score more goals. It's the only way they will win -- they must play 10X better than the other team and score at least 50% more goals per game, to counter-balance the bad calls and disallowed goals, which are both inevitable in our case.
