it was frustrating watching them last game, when they actually did play better than the Jets. They just didn't win. Offense is seriously an issue, but it has been for a couple of seasons now. Third line makes me very nervous.

If Mule has post-partum depression (yes, men have it too!), I hope it doesn't affect Ericsson, too. I have said before that since the Johan became a papa, he hasn't been the same player. It happens with some guys. Thankfully, not all of them. Clearly, Lidstrom didn't have a problem - but then again, he's perfect.

Tonight is a must-win, in my mind. Need to stop this skid and hold some players accountable... besides Jimmy. He deserves better than he's been seeing in front of him. We need to go all West Side Story on these Jets. 3 for us, none for them.

If Mule is physically and/or emotionally incapable of playing and honoring his contract with the Wings - implicitly, to be out there winning games for this team - he should do as some have and step down. And return his salary.

Several small treats, and I let then choose fruity or chocolate. I am a full service nice-lady-with-the-good-handouts on this block. I usually give out plastic spider rings, too. The kids have come to expect it... good thing I have a bag of 300 of them. room spray or good-smelling candle to freshen the air?

I always tip every server extra, unless they are asshats, then they get the exact 15% gratuity. Unless they are just incompetent and rude, I give servers and waiters the benefit of the doubt. The person below me likes to do nice things for others and does not expect anything in return.

My outstanding memory of the Flames is Noodles (McLennan) going all Paul Bunyan on Mule in the 2009 playoffs. Perhaps that was when he got the stuffing knocked out of him and he ain't been the same since.
