2103, the Year of the Groin. Sigh...
-
No, I haven't, but I've been in situations where it would have been useful. The person below me has had more than ten stitches to close a wound.
-
oooh, not a big fan of either, but I will say A&C real book or e-book?
-
I love any topic with "once and for all" in LGW. As if... just kidding, kid. Mule is staying, I just hope he finds the short season "fun" enough to be the Mule we need -- produce and participate, please!!
-
Frosty. I love snowmans. crinkle cut tater chips or regular ones?
-
I do, but I am too hyper to settle down for long, I fear. The person below me checks outside the front door, just to make sure no one left them a package (even when not expecting anything).

I need a prayer answered, please.....no toot-toot whistles.

Tutu will challenge the theory of "but you will like him once he's a Red Wing," in my case. I can't imagine ever liking him. I hope he knows how lucky he is to be a Wing, and acts accordingly. If he smashes a few people out there who try to hurt one of our guys, then I might approve. I said, "if". Don't want to see him start something and then run away to hide behind an official... crap like that. We shall see, I guess. It's too much to ask of Tutu to step up this much, but I miss Mac and the days when other players looked over their shoulders when he was on the ice, and they knew they'd done wrong. PS: screw the whistle idiocy, along with ever putting cheerleaders at the Joe. Please. No. -
This is very sad, and hopefully will make a difference for players, going forward. RIP, Junior.

thanks for doing this, Vladdy. A bunch of us went to Cobo Joe's in March 2012, when we were in Motown, going to a couple of game. It's great! The owner bought us a round, when we told him we traveled from Texas and Tennessee to worship our Red Wings. He was awesome. Definitely on my list the next time I am fortunate enough to be in Detroit for a game.

I have a couple I would give away, no trade needed. The person below me is scrambling to figure out how to see a game, if they broadcast one soon...

chicken More annoying hockey 'personality': Pee-air McGuire or Doc "Driiiiiiive" Emrick?
-
Food is good anytime. Blade razor, please. Ice in your drink or no?
-
I am not, but the site seems to be a tad wonky. Too much excitement? The person below me has on Wings gear today.
-
One of my very favorite Wings, I will miss you, Homer. The goalies in the league celebrate the departure of your large red butt. I will never forget you scoring from every possible angle in 2002, all while falling down or sitting on your afore-mentioned rosy derriere. Best of everything, friend. Enjoy retirement and playing pick up hockey with Nick in Sweden.

Not especially. It had to end some day. The person below me has been to the Hockey Hall of Fame.
-
Parros, for sure. Best Red Wing red head: Drapes or Mule?
-
Good news on Flip, thanks! I would think we're in pretty good shape, aside from goalies not playing much during the lock out, but believe Howie and Monster will be OK... no different from other clubs with idle goalies. Miller's in shape, and Z, and Datsyuk is his usual self. Defense worries me a bit, but we'll see, I reckon.

Well, life goes on the same for me here, unless Versus/NBC picks up a lot of Wings games, or someone re-establishes a stream like Drum's. I have tickets to local hockey, thinking I might see a Wing or two (like Nyquist) in March here, but now that isn't happening. I really don't expect "free" Center Ice here, since they won't even add NHL Network to our local cable -- since "no one" wants to see hockey here, according to Time Warner Cable. So. Great news for all of you in Detroit who still plan to go to games, and better news for those local folks in Motown who have their jobs back, as well. No one's excited to see Tootoo?

http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20130106/SPORTS0103/301060323/1128/rss16 Danny captured how I feel right now: ambivalent. I am glad for the players and workers and others who made their living from the game. The NHL needs to get busy making me happy again, since they basically ruined my one focus for fun last year with this lockout. Meh. But glad you've continued to have fun in Norway. The person below me is at loose ends today.

Me, minus ~ 40 pounds... at the gym, my "other" home.

I do. They also do single-stream recycling at the curb, and weekly yard waste pickup. We are very ecologically-correct here, and fortunate to have all these services, even if we do have to pay for it. The person below me has low blood sugar.

Haiku! Free verse is funner. cardio or weight lifting?
-
Bill Ranford.

Men, men, men! I love snowmen (yet I live in Texas, go figure). go big or go home?
-
Nah, I am OK with cool and damp. We need moisture of any description, and after our blast-furnace summers this is a relief. The person below me never makes New Year's resolutions.
