I would make the best hockey wife/girlfriend ever. I love the game, would happily spend all income above required bills/purchases on hockey tickets... and I don't like beer. I am a trifecta of wonderfulness... I even want a bigger TV and better sound system than what I have (50" tellie isn't big enough)

you missed the usual struggle to maintain puck control, while much more competent NHLers made the Wings life miserable. SO, the usual.

I have to say, the LCA crowd is mature and does not boo or jeer... other fan bases probably would boo their own teams for outings like the Wings put out. We all know they are a mess and injured and have no D and our goalies tend to fall apart and break easily. I am glad the local folks still come out and cheer for their Wings... they know they are not good, and they do try hard even if the results are dismal. Never give up.. .believe.

well, this is just not good. Poor LCA fans... the rink is silent and not in a good way, like Silent Night. Wings... are you going to get SHUT OUT again here tonight? Your inability to hang onto a puck and set up a decent shot would indicate a yes.

Doubt it, he's a Leaf. Hate losing Mantha (again). Surprised AA didn't get suspended (because, not a Leaf). Howard -- concerns akimbo here. Erne is out as well. I am guessing we lose again, but I always have hope unless I look at our D pairs. LGRW!! Drag me to Hell, Wings....

it is not you. It just seems to not take much to make the Wings fall off their game - that questionable first goal distracted them, and they lost confidence. It is a pattern this season. -

we are not thrilled. TO shoved Pickard into the goal net with the puck and the TO officials called it a legit goal... no surprise there. -

no, but we are not losing either. The Wings have at least 4 "just missed" chances, a couple should have been goals, if they were just a hair closer. They are trying really hard. Bernier left 7 minutes into the first (sick), and Pickard came in cold, and is doing well
